Hey check it out! David Cassidy won a TV Land Award last night for Most Fashionable TV Character Keith Partridge! He accepted his award most graciously and thanked his dad, the late Jack Cassidy for his fashion sense. He looked great too!

He did look great last night on the TVLand awards. An awful lot like his dad.

I was glad to hear him thank Jack. Obviously he's forgiven his father (Jack might have been a great actor, but his skills as a family man were not up to par). He also gave a shout out to step mom Shirley Jones who was in the audience.

And was that Marty Ingells at the table with her? I know that they had separated and he had done some wacky things.

Annie & Hallie's Mom - I have a Marty Ingels story. When I was about 12, a friend of mine was a HUGE Shaun Cassidy fan. She was super obsessed. Well, somehow, she found a phone number for Marty Ingels and called it, thinking maybe Shaun would answer the phone (we were young and very stupid). Turned out it WAS Marty Ingels residence and HE answered the phone. My friend freaked out and hung up on him. He somehow had the call traced back and chewed out my friend's dad for 20 minutes.

We got in a LOT of trouble for that one.

I loved David Cassidy when I was young--2nd, 3rd grade--I have always been a sucker for cute, babyfaced guys since.
He's on the short side--only 5'8" I believe. I read his autobiography. He sure made the most of his celebrity with the groupies!
But darn it, if I ever go to Vegas he's one of the VERY few people out there I'd pay $$$ to see.

I met Shaun Cassidy about 10 years ago when "Blood Brothers" was on Broadway. I was surprised at how much he aged, since I haven't aged a day.

He's was really nice, btw. And very sharp.

Unfortunately, my DH saw David Cassidy too on the awards show last night and thought he was k.d. lang!!!

Grinninghost, that sounds like something I would have tried to do (if I had the never). Boo to Marty Ingels for chewing you (via your dad out). Especially since he's pulled more than his share of crazy stunts.

David was my very first crush (in first grade). When I got older, I moved on to Shaun (would that have been 5th or 6th grade). You have to admit the Cassidys are good luck men!
