it looks like Mission Space (Epcot) is due to open on 15th August so if your trip is going to bridge that date make sure you visit Epcot after the 15th as it would be ashame to miss out on what is supposed to be a great new attraction. We were going to Epcot on the Sunday 17th but are re-scheduling to Monday 18th as we figure the weekend may have all the locals in the park trying out the new ride!!!
Hope to see you there:D

Mission: Space has been opening most afternoons around 4-5pm. They let around 3000 guests ride. They have 2 out of the 4 bays open for "testing".....though our bay broke down whilst we were in the pre-show!

If you are visiting before the 15th (official opening day) then try your luck as only small crowds were gathering and your chances to ride are quite high. Ignore the CMs spiel about the ride opening on the 15th August (they are only allowed to tell you that). The most they give away is that the ride "may open for testing". Look for an abundance of CMs outside the ride as a clue it is due to open for a short time.

This is the most intense ride on Disney property...only ride if you can handle very tightly enclosed dark spaces and EXTREME forces on your body! I heard this ride described as "the Teacups on Crack" and yes, that is a good description!

Have fun! Allie.
