Attention 12/3 MVMCP'ers !!!

Well believe it or not, the time to make a PS for Chef Mickey's on the night of the 12/3 MVMCP is fast approaching (8/5)

So, I need some feedback from everyone regarding whether or not you're OK with Chef Mickey's, or if you would like to have dinner someplace else.

If Chef Mickey's is ok......what time would you like me to make the PS for? The party will start at 7:00 and I am trying to make arrangements to have our group let in a little before the general public.

Also, for those who have not signed up for dinner and wish to go, please PM me as soon as possible.

I'm really excited.........how about you guys??

Chef Mickey's sounds great, Linda! I'd aim for the 5:00-5:30 range for a PS.

Linda...they will only do a 5pm seating for a large group ressie!!! Just an FYI...hope you guys have a blast!!!!!!

5:00 P.M. is a very good time. It takes a while to seat everyone, then eat, then take pictures of all the characters as they come by your table. And then, of course, there is all the laughing and talkng time. then to walk or take the monorail to MK when MVMCP opens at 7:00 P.M. The time will go by too fast, lol.

Anything is fine by me, but one question, which may have been previously posted. Why not eat in the park? Like LTT? I know CP is closed, and Tony's had no characters at dinner. Just wondering.

Dan Murphy .... I would like to eat in the park as well. It would certainly make it alot easier. However, LTT is already completely booked. And as you said Tony's has no characters. It's also a little on the small side to accomodate all of us.

BTW......there are 15 of us so far for dinner. This is so exciting

I ate at Liberty Tree Tavern before MVMCP last year. The food was good, but I wasn't as impressed as others seem to be. Chef Mickey's should be a lot of fun!

I would love to be there with you guys, but I'll be going to the Hoop-Dee-Doo for my first time that evening.

I hope that you get to see the MK FiS fireworks that evening during your Chef Mickey's dinner after MK closes. I don't know if they will be doing it that night, but one night before MVMCP, I remember them in the sky, but that was before 9-11.

Dan - dinner at LTT was a MVMCP "add-on" - and people were able to make their PS's when they ordered their MVMCP tickets. Linda had a PS at LTT at one time, because I was going to be at her table.

DH and I would like to do the MVMCP on the 3rd. Even with a week or two planning I never really get into the 3 hour time change and for sure my stomach doesen't. So with that said----will there be a place to meet up with you all once inside the MK? Thanks PattyN

D A N... They were taking PS's for LTT several months ago - for people who bought MVMCP tickets! Linda (figmentvi) had a PS for the 12/3 night of MVMCP (I was going to be at her table), but she cancelled the PS to eat elsewhere. Is that clear as mud?

Oh, I see. I think so, LOL. I just never knew thaey would take PS's that far out, for any reason. Cool.

Dan....WDW Dining decided to try something new this year and allowed those who purchased their MVMCP tickets to make a PS at LTT at the same time (or later as long as you had tickets). I did make a PS there, however it was only for a table of 6. Then I canceled when we decided to go to CP. Wrong move. But, of course hindsight is 20-20

Patinmn........Chris (december99) is making the PS for the 8th.

dalepool........we will definitely make plans to meet up with everyone who is not going to the dinner. I'll post the meeting spot and time here on this board. I think it would be cool if we had our picture taken as a group. I'll add you and your DH to the list of the mini-meet attendees. Welcome aboard !!!
