It was GREAT! There were quite a few people there and the amount of car honking, waving and thumbs up was very heart warming.
That said,a few things that happened really irritated me.Our signs CLEARLY stated "Support our Troops" and we got about half a dozen thumbs down. How does someone actually NOT support our troops? This was not pro-Bush or anything, just support the troops.
The other odd thing was a reporter from our local paper asked me if I had anyone in the war.I said no.She then asked "Well isn't it strange for you to be here supporting the troops if you don't have someone over there?" Like you can only be patriotic or pro-troops if you have a service-member in your family. What a whack job she was. Can't wait to see if she put anything I or my son said to her in the paper, and if she did,if it resembles what we really said
