Ahhhhhhh!!!-Even in these freezing temps, these ugly little creepy crawlies are still invading my house:sad: I went into my DD's closet this morning to get her clothes out and right there on one of her sweaters was 1 staring at me:scared1: anyone else having a problem with these nasty critters?

Yes, us too. I thought for sure this cold winter would finally rid us of these things but it just must be pushing them inside. I think they must live in the cracks of the walls or something. At least they aren't spiders

I didn't realize Stinkbugs were real. I looked at this thread expecting a cute kid story. :rotfl:

I had one land on my face in the middle of the night the other night...ahhhhhh!!....and that nasty smell!! I thought they were like ladybugs and disappeared during the cold months!!:confused3

I don't know where they came from but we've been in our house for 15 years and it's only been the last couple years that we've had these nasty things in our house.

EEK! They ARE real AND they smell? I thought that was just a made up thing on the Bug's Life show at Animal Kingdom.

I don't know either. We've lived here since 2000 and never had a stinkbug until this past summer. I kill about 5 a day. They just keep coming back. Fortunately, they are pretty slow and easy to kill. But, where did these suckers come from???

Not all ladybugs go away for winter. I have my own little lady bug mecca going on here. As we speak there 8 live ones on my wall by my window. Guess im lucky

Here in the south, at least parts, it's ladybugs trying to get inside. At least they are cute- but they have a smell too.

We have noticed them only this summer outside.. I think they are catching a ride on my dog to get inside. We had one in the house the other day. Drives the cats nuts!! DH killed it.

We thought it was a beetle...and started calling them John Lennon!! LOL. So when we spot one we tell DH John Lennon is back and he has to get rid of it!!

From everything I have heard about these ugly stinkers:rolleyes: They hitched a ride over from Africa in 2001,since then every summer each invasion gets worse.I myself only started spotting them summer of 2007.The guy who exterminates my house said that they can crawl thru a closed window......Ewwww

UGH! Our house is overrun by stinkbugs AND ladybugs right now. Every time I turn around, I am having to duck and cover to avoid the stinkbugs(I think their whole purpose on earth is to drive me out of my mind!) or flick a ladybug off of my neck. It's awful. They do, however, provide much entertainment for my DS(2) who likes to pick them up and "hide" them in DH's shoes:rotfl:

From what I have read about stinkbugs, there isn't too much that can be done about them. They literally make themselves at home and nest inside the walls. People have said they have had exterminators in every two weeks to get rid of them, but it is still not enough.

I never saw them before I moved here and I just move a few miles away from where I used t live. They are a PITA but better than the mice...

I hate JUNEBUGS. We had a huge invasion of them in our kitchen last month. I tell you I panicked! I wouldnt come out of my room. There just discusting!
