What if anything can prevent that darn shower curtain from floating toward you in the shower? I doubt that it is changed between cruises and it grosses me out. Anyone else?

Take some clothespins to clip onto the bottom of the shower curtain to weigh it down a little bit. That should solve the problem.

I just make sure the bottom of side that faces the outside of the shower is wet - then it sticks to the bathtub instead of touching me - I agree that is SOOOOO Gross. I wonder if a magnet would work? Anyone know if a magnet sticks to the tub?

Don't know about the tub on the cruise, but it works at home. I buy curtains with magnets in the bottom for that same purpose.

You could try the trick my 7 year old came up with which was that he put it on the OUTSIDE of the tub, while showering.

When I came in to check on him 2 minutes after he started to shower there was water all over the place (of course) and when I pointed that out I got an "Oops" from him followed by a "I figured it was supposed to be like that because otherwise it kept sticking to my butt and that's just disgusting..."

That's my boy.

I had the same thought and asked awhile ago - see this link. I have only been on a Carnival cruise but it worked really well there. Happy cruising!

OMG!!!! That drove me absolutely crazy on our cruise!!!! Sounds petty, but it was the most annoying thing ever. Wish I had known about the crazy, attacking shower curtain ahead of time

Ahhh ! The curtain was so frustrating I never really thought about how disgusting it may be

They ought to refit the shower with shgower doors that slide close. The newer ships have these. I didn't like the curtains either.

I wouldn't bet all my money on real shower doors on the Dream. Ships older than the Magic/Wonder have doors, but it was my understanding Disney went with curtains because of how many children were on board and concerns the doors would be broken.

No, I don't know what the Disney Dream is going to have in the shower. I recently went on the RCCL FOTS and they had shower doors. I thought it was great because I didn't have to walk in water outside the shower after the shower or put up with the curtain sticking to me. Most all the older ships have the curtains. Maybe the trend is for doors on the showers. I don't think the argument of curtains to protect children is valid.
