ATT phone problems

anybody experiencing an outage or other problem?

Well I have the worst phone imaginable, it's supposed to be designed for messaging, but it's way worse than my old cheap nokia phones that are like 5 years old. And the battery will no longer charge with it's original charger, or even hold much of a charge for the day without use.

As for AT&T service, it's a crap shoot sometimes. I can be holding the phone in my hand, with full bars, and it vibrate to tell me I have a voicemail. It happened a lot with the Samsung, not so much with my Nokia (which I have switched back to for the time being). I can't wait till the end of the year when I can get a new phone.

Our cell phones have been going straight to voicemail quite a bit lately, no ring at all, no missed call, just a new voicemail. Our house phone won't ring either. It just gives you a busy signal when you call it. This has been happening a lot lately as well and they don't seem to know what to do about it... but we keep calling them and asking for a solution

When I text, sometimes it goes through other times all people get are a bunch of wingding boxes with no lettering. This happens more often with multiple page texts.

Keep in mind that AT&T was named the worst cell phone carrier in 2010.

I actually never have a problem with att. I've had them for years. This was, I believe a cell tower outage. It started on Saturday. This morning it seemed to be fixed. Calls would not go thru at all or would take quite awhile before they rang. Texts piled up unsent and I would receive a bunch from hours ago.

DD has a crappy phone she hates, but it is the phone, not ATT

DH's work place uses ATT and never a problem even with all the places he travels to.

Cellular or landline?

As others have noted, A-T & T cellular has issues, which is probably why 26% of the people signing up for i-Phones on Verizon were current A-T & T customers.
