I am taking my Check Card with me, for our up coming trip. I called the bank and they said I could take out $500 daily. My ? is do the local ATM's except all Visa Check Cards. Just in case I need to take out extra cash

If it is a bank issued debit card with the visa logo, then yes. On the back of your card you will see where it is accepted ie: Cirrus network. there is also a toll free number to call and see what bank accepts your card and where.
