Atlantis Pool and Slide use???

I have read the only way to use the beach and pools at Atlantis is to rent a room for the day. I have also read that there is a sister hotel that is less expensive but allows the use of the Atlantis water areas. Has anyone ever done this?? How much was it and was it worth the time and $$$$. Also how did you go about booking this??

Comfort Suites is right across from Atlantis. Guests there have the same privileges as those checked into Atlantis.

I have also read where some folks have been able to rent a day room rate at Atlantis, too. So I would suggest checking both out and comparing. Good luck!
