Atlantis offers day passes which are significantly cheaper than what disney offers and as children priced up to 13. It gives you access to water parks and beaches......downside is you have to get there on your own but with 9 of us it looks like it will save us over $650 plus i think we can have a longer day......has anyone sed these day passes.....would love some information?

Just a tip, if you have Marriott reward points, you can book a room for 35k points, which a huge savings over even the day pass rates.

The family we were travelling with just did this last week. Booked the day pass and saved about $400 I think she said. Getting a taxi there and back was pretty easy they said.

We did we did

We did the Atlantis day pass and we're somewhat disappointed. If you have ever been to any waterpark, it is really no different. we really wish we had just stayed at the beach instead. In fact, the last time we just stayed on the boat and really preferred it.

The only risk you run is that Atlantis may not be selling day passes on any particular day. If the hotel is fully booked and they've sold out cruise exclusions, they don't sell additional passes.

I agree and disagree.

Yes, Atlantis water park slides are not record breaking, but neither are any rides at Disney World. Its the entirety of the elements (theme, story, and ride) at Disney that make it special. Same goes for Atlantis: its well themed and is sitting on a spectacularly beautiful beach in a fantastic climate.

We actually booked a room for the day at Atlantis for way cheaper than the cruise line was offering their day passes. We had a wonderful time and full range of the resorts....just have to keep an eye out for Atlantis deals and book at that time.....I'm thinking of doing the same next time we go or just hang out at one of the beaches.

We did the aquarium/beach excursion and had a great time. Didn't include the slides but it was really fun to watch other people use them. I think it's way better then just a waterpark. The theming of the whole are is beautiful, we really enjoyed The Dig area and the beach was great.

Can you book the day passes through the Atlantis website? I've looked and can't seem to find them (although I could be looking in the wrong spot!)

I think you can here.

This might change later this year as there's a big resort due to open in Nassau (Bahamar). This resort was supposed to open 2 years ago, and just before that opening Atlantis changed its policies regarding day passes. They might tinker again once that place opens. But I'm sure they'd honor anything they've already sold if they do change those policies.

We are going in a few weeks and have a room booked for Comfort Suites Paradise Island which comes with passes for Atlantis. It only accommodates 4 and we have 5 going so we just pre booked my sons pass directly with Atlantis yesterday. Here's the link for that. http://www.atlantisbahamas.com/daybooking
