Atlantis Beach Day

Is there only one bus taking guests to the beach for this excursion? I know they wait for the ship to dock but since we need to eat breakfast it would be nice to know there is more then one. Anyone know for sure? There are multiple return trips.

When we went last June, we took a boat(water taxi?) over to Paradise Island. I'm pretty sure that they had more than 1. Be prepared for a long walk also.

I'm not exactly sure if I'm answering your question . . . The Atlantis Beach Day is a Disney excursion, so it has a specific time to meet, and everyone taking that excursion goes at one time. Even if there are 2 or 3 buses (depending on how many people would book that) they leave to go at the same time. Does that make sense?
You are right about leaving the resort; there are many buses going throughout the day so you can leave anytime you want.

In the morning, you just eat breakfast before the time listed to leave (ours was 9:15). HTH

Just got back and yes it was one bus. We rushed breakfast to be punctual at 9 thinking we had to. Well we sat and sat and sat till probably 10! I wouldn't do that trip again. Way too much beach walking to be dropped at a cove beach. I thought we would be at the ocean. I met at least three families that got no beach chairs! One was the couple we were dining with. I would have been furious! The lunch also was very mediocre at best. The aquariums saved the day , they were fascinating. If you like the casino's that too was available. I would skip this excursion in the future.
The cruise itself was wonderful!!!!!!!!!

I agree 100%! We were so disappointed in it last June. Were you bugged constantly by rude vendors also? Also the lack of nearby restrooms. We almost skipped CC because of our experience on Atlantis Beach Day. That would have been a HUGE mistake!Atlantis Beach Day was the only disappointment on the cruise.
