Atlantis Aquaventure?

I seem to recall a few years back there was a method some people used to visit the Atlantis Aquaventure more cheaply than booking the DCL excursion, I think by booking a room at the resort itself.
Is this still something that works out to be a better option?

Yes, but you are going to want to book at the Comfort Suites Atlantis. There are some rooms in the Beach Tower section of Atlantis that are cheaper than the Comfort Suites, but everything in Atlantis has a two night minimum which negates the saves. Also, Comfort Suites gives you a max of 4 wrist bands for a rooms. In our case there are 6 of us. It actually works out better for us to buy the day pass instead of renting two rooms.
