Atlanta Malls

Has anyone ben to the Greebair Mall and Flea market in Atlanta.

Discover Mall is it cheap as everyone says it is.

Is there any Good Flea Markets in Atlanta if where are they. I will need address to them.

Is there anything good on the outskirts of Atlanta in outlet malls that has things cheap.

Is Perimeter Mall worth going to.

What do the locals do in Atlanta in a way of shopping and having fun.

I am going on a power shopping trip after my final exam in Technical Writing.

Atlanta has so much to do and see; especially if you like to shop. Perimeter Mall is really nice (we used to live in Dunwoody, right near the mall) but Lennox Mall and Phipps Plaza in Buckhead are much nicer. Perimeter has Nordstrom, Crate & Barrel, Cheesecake Factory and many other nice stores.

There is also Northpoint Mall in Alpharetta and the Mall of Georgia in Buford. Further north of Atlanta is a large outlet mall just off of GA400, but the name escapes me now.

For some fun shopping, go to the Little Five Points section of Atlanta. There are a number of cool stores with everything from vintage clothes to cool furniture. Underground Atlanta is pretty interesting, too.

For great antique shopping, visit Chamblee. They have some really nice stores with tons of intersting finds. Also, each month there used to be a great flea market to the east of Hartsfield, just off of 285. It was held in two large buildings and also was well worth seeing.

When Discover Mills first opened, I compared prices in some of the outlets to those in the same outlets in Commerce and St. Augustine, and found them to be the same.

I don't know if that makes it "cheap as everyone says it is", or not.

I haven't been to any of those places DisneyVillain or bd-celebration mentioned, but Calhoun, GA has an outlet mall that has some good deals. Dalton, GA has some good deals at their outlet mall sometimes. I've heard Boaz, AL has a great outlet mall too.

First off DO NOT GO TO GREENBRIAR MALL! It is very dangerous area especially if you don't know the area. Which Flea market are you refering to? there is Scotts antique market, Bufford hwy flea market, Lakewood Flea market along with many others. Of the ones I know of I would say don't go to Bufford hwy one because of the same reason a Greenbriar!
The outlet malls on the southend of town are cheaper than the ones up on the north end. There is one in Lovejoy, about 20 mins south of the airport on I-75 that is run by Tangers , as the one in Commerce is. And they are cheaper.

Buckhead is the place to have fun in Atlanta if you are speaking of bars and clubs. If you are over thirty you probably would enjoy Johnny's Hideaway on Roswell Rd. If under 30 there are tons of places in Buckhead. Tongue and Groove, American Pie, to name a couple. If you are gay try Backstreet.

Other place to have fun... Six Flags over GA is here on I20 west of Atlanta. Off I75 there is Six Flags Whitewater, which is a water park. We have a pretty good Zoo here, located in the Grants Park area of Atlanta. In Gwinnett there are several Go Cart /Putt Putt golf amusements right off I 85. For plays there is the Fox Theater.
Also next month we have the Midtown Music Festival, many musical groups are featured in this with concerts the entire weekend. Sheryl Crow is here this yr. no one else comes to mind at the moment. I would go to the Atlanta Creative Loafing site, They always have what is going on in Atlanta with directions,prices etc.
