Here's who attended: Russell (flyingninja), Dan Murphy, sha_lyn, Collin, ead79, Ray Sharpton and olena.

We dined at Slope's Barbecue. Good ol' Southern fixin's!

Olena, thank you for posting these pictures so quickly...wow. I had a grat time getting to {{{Hug}}} you, and everyone there. It was so great to see you and your DH again.

Do you think Dan was kidding when he asked you what you were eating, and you said green beans...lol.

It was good to see that he new how to order a drink by asking for a coke, instead of a pop.(it's a southern thing) ... Just kidding again, Dan.

ead79 and her DH sound like they are going to have a wonderful, magical, Walt Disney World wedding this December. I know the evenuing will be beautiful as they stand in the WDW Wedding Pavillion that looks at Magic Kingdom.

And it was great to meet sha_lyn and her DS for the first time.

Dan Murphy, I can't find the words to say how much that it meant to me to meet you again. And what were you doing with my cane...lol. I can't wait to see you in December, again. Maybe we can plan to do the Epcot Candlelight Processional again.

A mighty fine group of DISers. Yes indeed, a mighty fine group of DISers.

P.S.: And for the record, and for Alex's Challenge and my W.I.S.H. friends, I drank water, and ate dry chopped pork and dry ribs with Pete's hot sauce, and no bar-b-que sauce. All zero carb..

What a great bunch of DISers. Atlanta is only 12 hours from my house and I would have loved to have made the trip. Especially for ribs and hot sauce(s). And the people of course.

It is always great to meet Dan- He truly is interested in meeting, and making you feel special.
He is one of the most sincere, caring people I have ever met.

I will attest that Ray is telling the truth--he did super on his Atkins challenge while at Slope's. Way to go, Ray!!!

I really did have a wonderful time discussing a huge variety of topics. It was wonderful seeing Ray's Santa pictures with the little ones--it's such a sweet thing for you and the nurses to do, Ray. Of course, it was great seeing you again, Dan! And you didn't even catch me in a picture when I was leaving the restroom. Sharon and Russ, it was great seeing you both again too. I realize that it must be tough since you live in a cave to make it all the way to Roswell for a meet, LOL! Olena, as usual you were great fun! Chris and Colin will have to sit next to each other at the next meet so they can discuss Slashdot and all it's intricacies.

Looks like ya'll had a great time!!!

Dan called me on my cell phone on Tuesday, after he got in his rental car at Atlanta-Hartsfield. Funny thing is, I was in my rental car, headed to the Atlanta airport (I had been visiting my folks in Western North Carolina for a few days).

Dan and I were literally passing each other on opposite sides of I-85 as we talked on our cell phones!

If I had had time, we could have had an impromtu DIS Meet on the side of the road!
