Atlanta Change Over 1hr 45mins, enough time?

Hi Guys,

Looking at flights and I've found some reasonable priced with Delta, with a change at Altanta from Man, he change over time is only 1 hr 45 minutes, is this enough time? On a Thursday, mid afternoon?

Just worried with immigration queues etc, would we miss the connection.

Gone thru Atlanta numerous times, I would accept them. As long as you move swiftly you should be OK.
There is always a chance of missing a connection due to delays, slow luggage arrival, immigration etc but that never worries me, they will get me there on next available flight. Done around 50 indirect flights never missed a connection yet.

We've missed connections but never worried about it, as Wayne says, the carrier will get you there on the next flight and there is nothing lost. In fact, we've had some experiences when we've missed connections and had a short wait!

You should be fine. We did a connection via another US airport earlier in the year that was 1 hr 45 minutes - immigration computers were down so no one entered the country for 50 minutes. We still made our connection in under an hour.

For me it depends on how many international flights have landed before yours. You might be okay, but don't worry if not as said before, you will be put on the next available flight

We did Atlanta last year it was a breeze, we even managed a change in Miami this year in 1 hr 45 mins and we sat for 30 mins waiting to board our on time connecting flight.

There is always a risk - if you are worried check how many flights after yours Delta has running to MCO as they will get you on the next flight (if they can) we found they offer big incentives to other passengers to travel later so they can get people who have missed a connection on board
