I booked a flight from Indy to Orlando on Airtran for next month. The only flight with an early arrival time connects in Atlanta. I will be travelling solo and have never been to Atlanta. The layout looks pretty confusing.
Seeking reassurance, please and thanks.

I have had no trouble with connections in ATL when flying AirTran. All of their flights seem to arrive and leave within the same concourse, so it was quick to get to the next gate. We last flew through there on Dec 15, when many of the NE airports were closed due to weather. Even with all of the cancelled flights, staff were helpful in showing us where to go for our connection.

The Atlanta airport should not be a problem for you. As the previous poster said, AirTran is almost completely in Concourse C with a few gates in Concourse D. If, by some remote chance, you need to change concourses, all you need to do is get on the train to your next concourse. Have a good flight.
