Atlanta Airport Question

The last couple of times I flew thru the Atlanta airport on Delta, I remember seeing some internet cafe areas. I am wondering if I can pop in there to recharge my laptop during a 2 hour layover or if you can only go in to use the internet? Anyplace else I could recarge my laptop. I will be watching movies and expect that the battery will not last from home to final destination.

I'm sure you could do it a cafe, but I don't know if they'd charge you to sit there or not. If it were me, I'd take the laptop to a check-in desk near your gate and ask them if you can plug in there for a couple of hours. I don't think you'd be charged in that case, and the worst they can do is say no. Also, they can probably put it on the floor out of sight of everyone, leaving you with the ability to go grab a drink or something.

Certain seats in the boarding area will have plugs by them so you can plug in your laptop. Also, many of the bars/restaurants have plugs for the passengers to use...

IIRC, there were spots dedicated to charging your lap top in the Atlanta Airport near the gates. Look for desk like areas with signes that say something to the effect of "Charge Up Here on Us" or something like that.

Delta has areas to charge/use your laptop in their gate areas. I can't remember what their called but their free. Just walk down concourse A or B. You'll find them.

These are great -- I wish more airports would set these up. If they are all in use, just look around pillars or along walls for an available electrical outlet. I look for spots near open (unused) gates (which do pop up occasionally in Atlanta). I love traveling to/through Atlanta.
