Well I'm still doing well. I really got the urge for sweets last night. But I had cheese instead, and I was OK. (I just kept focussing on how bad I would feel if I cheated, and I thought about fat me on my upcoming vacation in 6 weeks.

Still no diet soda, caffiene, or low carb candy.

Today meals wil be:

Cheese for breakfast

Lunch 2 cucumbers with garlic vinegar & oil dressing & 3pieces cad bacon

Dinner: Philly cheese steak 1&1/2 cups green beans with onion powder, garlic powder and butter. 6 grams carbs

Snack jello, pickels and cheese--friday night week usualy rent movies, so I have to have plenty of snacks handy.

For the weekend, I'm thinking of the following:

Make a large portion of Parm coated chicken--
Make a large portion of chicken salad-

The parm chicken is very good, just dip in egg, then coat with grated parm cheese, and pan fry in Olive oil.

I saw a display at the store with a 2 carb recipe listed. It Stated to dip chicken in tomato sauce instead of egg. Then dip in grated parm cheese. I'm a little to early in induction to try tomato sauce, but I thought I would pass this along.

Dee,

Yummm, it sounds like a good LC day you have planned. Myself personally am on day 1 week 1 of induction lol a long way to go! I can't wait to try that chicken and parm cheese though, I think I will make a big batch this weekend! Thanks for the yummy idea! Good luck with induction, how long do you plan to stay on it?

Kelly
Doing well on day 1 and hopefully all the way through ::yes::

I'm planning to stay on induction for the month of May. I'm going on vacation to Disney in June and would really like to drop some weight before the trip. It would be great to loose about 17 for the trip, even though I need to loose much more then 17 LBs, but I'll work on that this summer. It does get easier the longer you are on Atkins, so hang in there.

What about you, how long do you plan to stay on induction?

Dee

Dee, I am going to stay on induction for at least the 1st two weeks and then I'll see how it goes. I only need to lose 13-15 pounds to get to my goal weight so I am hoping Atkins will boost me really close to there and then I can maintain using Atkins plan. I am not vacationing untill September with the Mouse (and I am envious of your upcoming trip!lol) so I have some time there, but DH's high school reunion is July 17th and I would like to look my best there as I will be the youngest and I would like to feel comfortable around others that I have not met. If it seems to be working out well I will probably follow induction for the month of May or untill I reach my goal. I'm hoping this gets easier, right now I feel FULL of protein

By the way the cucumbers that you are eating sound yummy too::yes::
