I have tried WW 4times and find that I give into eatting to much because I have the freedom of having sweets as long as I don't go over the points. I can not afford to pay the 12.00 a week to see the scale.

When I tried the low carb I did really well the first 3wks then fell off due to not being able to eat as much sweets as I like. Soooo I am not sure which plan I should stick with.

I need to loose a staggering 150 pounds so this is something I need to be able to do for the long haul. Going to the gym is not an issue I have a group of friends who go with me 3 to 4 times a week. But then of course my appetite goes up :rotfl:

Does anyone else have my problems and which plan is working for you?

Thanks
Kristin

I've used all three, but lost my 100 pounds with a program called Health Management Resources, which combined calorie-consciousness with a very strong suppport system, between medical professionals, weight-loss coaches, and support group support. Of course, all that's a bit more than $12 per week! :)

It's true that $12 per week is a lot to see a scale, but from what I remember, Weight Watchers offers a great amount of support, for those who want it. That support is very much worth the $12 per week, if it makes the difference between success and failure. I think support, group support and support from a weight-loss coach, is highly underrated. We all can follow any one of these programs and lose weight, but support makes the difference between can and will.
