I started induction today and although I am not doing "clean" induction (I need caffiene man!) I want to give this a good shot so here is my menu from today and what I plan for tomorrow:

Today:
B: 3 slices of ham (leftover from Easter)
L: Little more then a cup of salad greens, cheese, egg, and dressing.
D: Pork Chop - 1 cup Cauliflower with cheese

Tomorrow:
B: 2 Sausage Patties
L: Cup of Salad greens, dressing, cheese and grilled piece of Mahi Mahi
D: Ham and cheese Egg Omelet w/Sour Cream and Salad Greens
S: Sugar Free Jello and Whip Cream

That seems like a great start Amanda! I hear ya about the caffeine. Are you sure that's enough calories though? You may want to put them into www.fitday.com and make sure you hit at least 1200. I personally need a couple of Atkins snacks during the day. Good start though and the planning will be a big help.

That sounds great! Perfect Induction menu! The SF jello is great for snack while on Induction - stay away from the Atkins snacks, especially during Induction because they will keep your cravings up, and will inhibit your initial weight loss. They are mostly for after Induction, and even then you should use them sparingly. But, they are great in a pinch!

I noticed you're only having meat for breakfast - and both of those meats are very high in sodium. This might be an issue with water retention - so either change to meats with lower sodium (chicken breast, leftover pork chop, etc) or make sure you drink extra water all morning to flush the sodium out of your system! Feel free to add some cheese or an egg to your breakfast too! ::yes::

Usually I have eggs and cheese in the morning for breakfast but I have all this meat sitting around in the house that I need to get rid of at the moment. I tend to drink more water in the morning anyway so it should balance itself out.

My sodium intake is actually pretty low I don't use salt in any of my cooking or add it to veggies.
