Yeah but I had it way worse for my 5th grade teacher. I even had a picture of her. Even today I still remember what she looked like.

And I remember the first time she kissed me  Ha! bet you all are wondering about that story!

Well.....

I think it depends on if they have sisters... :rotfl:

DS has an older thinks-she's-the-boss sister. At 10, he still thinks girls are icky. Gee - I wonder why.

My son and his friends do not find girls "icky" BUT the conversation in the back seat went like this just the other day.....
"ya know X has 8 girls he thinks are hot now"
"Yeah, he needs therapy!"
lots of giggling
they are 10

My DS11 started noticing girls this school year. One girl on his bus sat beside him and asked him to be her boyfriend. I knew he like girls when he started wearing deoderant and using body wash religiously! The boy smells GOOD. :thumbsup2

My son NEVER thought they were icky, always loved the company of females and thought they were the superior sex!

He had his first "girlfriend" in daycare, the next in PreK and one every year in elementary school. They were never real "girlfriends", but he was always so INTO them.

He's in the 6th grade now and getting "hormonal".... it's scary. I kind of WISH now he thought they were "icky"... :scared:

My 6yo never thought they were icky and has a girfriend in kindergarten (I don't know if she knows that she is his girlfriend, however). He has older brothers, though, so that might have something to do with it (they are now 12 and 15) and a college sister, so he's always been around older kids.

When he was in his 4yo preschool class, he told me that there were "hot babes" in his class. :rotfl: You can tell that he has older siblings! :lmao:

I would say on average between 5th and 8th grades, earlier for some, later for others.

I don't know. My son has liked girls ever since he was old enough to realize there was a difference, about age 2. He has never been through the "girls are icky" stage. :teeth:

Mine neither (7 &5). I think it is because most of the cousins around t heir age are girls so that is who they have played with since they were little. My 7 year old has had crushes on girls in K and 1st grade. (The 1st grade crush has 3 other boyfriends. :rotfl2: ) He even has a type already, brunettes with shoulder length or shorter hair.

DH recently asked his DS if he liked girls. This was the first time he didn't respond with a defensive "NO!" He just grinned. :rotfl:

He's in 5th grade.

My DS(12) has never thought of girls as icky and has had little "girl friends" since he was in preschool. I'd say at age 10 he really started to notice girls and now...well lets just say he really enjoys going to the school dances and slow dancing with his female friends. :sad2: How do they grow up so fast?

I know he and dad have had the talk a few times...but I always remind him to always treat girls with respect...I think thats one thing we forget sometimes to teach our young males as they are growing up. Same for young ladies.

omg I sooo love this thread because it brings back a childhood memory of mine.

I was in 2nd grade living in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. There was this really cute girl who wore leg braces. I was so infatuated with her that I ran away from home and set up camp outside in her front yard, just so I could see her more and be with her for the rest of my life.

Her dad turned out to be a police officer and gave me the biggest scare of my life by (fake) arresting me and giving a extremely stern lecture on running away from home and staying away from his daughter. He then took me home and I got grounded for what seemed like forever. lol :rolleyes1

I swear that my son has ALWAYS liked girls!:) The best I remember was once when he was about 18 months old and we were on my uncle's pontoon boat up at the lake. My youngest cousin was in his early 20s and dating this cute young lady. The entire time we were on the boat, my son gazed at adoringly at that girl! At one point my cousin leaned over and told my son, hey buddy, she's my girl. My son looked over at him, grinned real big, then went back to looking at my cousins' girlfriend.:) And he's been like that ever since.;)

Oh and those 12 year old hormones......!

You, I'm not surprised :teeth: Shutterbug, dish....I won't tell anyone :listen:

I think it depends on the boy. My almost 11-year-old son hated all girls until about three months ago. He is now "going" with a girl in his class. They don't actually "go" anywhere, but apparently that is what the kids at my son's school call it when you sit by each other at lunch and walk to class together.

Now, my almost 6-year-old has been girl-crazy for a couple of years. He says he is in love with Paris Hilton and is going to get a girlfriend just like her when he gets big. :scared1:

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Darling son told me that he loved his teacher when he was in 2nd grade. Outside of her, they're all icky. And he just hit 13!
