We have rented from Apple several times in the past with no issues and a great price. We picked up our stroller this morning. The good news is that it was on time. The bad news is its in rough shape. It's dirty, torn seats, completely worn tires, an unknown sticky substance on the handlebar. The citi mini logos are worn away or missin completely. Our other strollers have always been immaculate.

Our weekly rental cost was $62 so super inexpensive. I had some Lysol spray and wipes so I cleaned it up. We will be back in Disney next may and next time will use another company. I have recommended them many times on these boards but after receiving this stroller I will no longer do so.

Did you call them to try to get a replacement? I am renting from them in late September and now I am nervous.

I did not. I will be emailing them about it. My boys are 4 and won't be napping in it or I would have called. It's fully functional but very well used. If I was looking for one second hand it's the stroller I would say was too used to buy. Some Lysol wiped cleaned it up ok. I can't tell you if I would stick with your reservation or not. I can tell you I won't use them in May though. If your child is in it a lot you might want to use another company. If your child is older like my boys then you might be ok with the stroller and the money saved.

That's really odd. We rented from Apple last year and our stroller looked almost new. We had no issues at all. I'm VERY particular about things like that and know I wouldn't have handled it as well as you did. I would have called them immediately. Hopefully they will bring you another. It's a shame they expected someone to be happy with something like that.

Well, we called them. One of the sunshades is broken. They are swapping strollers this evening. They offered to meet us in an hour but we would need to return to the hotel. Will update with the replacement tomorrow.

How was the replacement?

DD is two, but very insistent on walking everywhere (she even walks the DC zoo in 90 degrees which has a giant hill). I baby wore for most of her first year, so she never got used to a stroller, so often when she decides she's too tired she makes me carry her. We've never taken her to disney, so I don't know how we're going to handle naps. She may refuse to leave the park, or she may refuse to nap altogether. I'm not thinking the stroller will be getting a ton of use, except to hold our stuff.
