At WDW now - Help!

We are at WDW now on the dining plan...last night we went to 'Ohana for our 9:30 ADR but didn't get seated until 9:45...we ordered Mac n cheese for my DS5...before it even arrived he fell asleep on 2 chairs! This was fine with us as we were able to really enjoy our meal while DS slept away!

The server was really nice and said she wasn't going to charge us for the child's meal bc he slept the whole time! Obviously we can't send just our DS for a table service meal by himself so what can I do with the extra TS meal? Can it be turned into snacks?

You can use it for a QS meal I believe.

I've read that credits are easier to "convert" to snacks at your resort than in the parks.....it sounds like it pretty much depends on the CM you get whether or not they will do it?? Never done it so maybe someone else will have more info...

You can likely get a kids' CS meal for the credit, or even see if some other TS is available and order him a kids' meal while the others split and share a couple entrees and apps between them (or an entree and app, depending on how many people are involved). Pay for that OOP and use the plan for the kids' meal.

If you didn't pay for the dining plan (e.g. are there under the free dining plan promotion), then you can also just leave the credit unused. Not like you're really missing out, since you didn't pay for the uneaten 'Ohana meal anyway.
