At Walmart today and ...yep you guessed it

I feel a little anxious when I see the Christmas stuff appear because it's a reminder that the frenzy of shopping, baking, decorating, traveling will begin soon.....but I still love it. Yay for Christmas in October...Bring it on!!

Our walmart is just starting to put it out, but our Kmart has had it out for a few weeks now So I have all my attention at Kmart now
I love, love, love christmas and the holidays. I wish it could be year round.

I always said if I had a spare room in my house, it would be decorated year round and be the Christmas room

The commercial aspect has pushed the Christmas season too early.
My wife and I both grew up in households where the Christmas Season started 2 weeks before Christmas, and continued until the Epiphany 2 weeks later. And we didn't grow up in particuarly religious households.

My next door neighbor puts up extensive Christmas decorations on the day after Thanksgiving, and the day after Christmas, they are gone. Drive's me nuts.

Dh and dd were out at Home Depot last weekend, and were late getting home (she had to get changed and go to a party) so I texted dh to see what they were up to. He replied "dd is busy looking at all the Christmas stuff" ... *GAG!!!!!!*

It's way too early. Way.
