I decided to treat myself to a night at VGC for my birthday. It has been worth the splurge so far! I'm in room 2520, a lock off studio, overlooking Paradise Park. The location is wonderful! If I were a few floors higher I think I would have the best possible viewing for World of Color. I'm going to see if I can catch the last show from my balcony, but I have dinner reservations at Napa Rose tonight. I've enjoyed everything about the resort so far! I'll post pictures when I get home. I don't have my camera cable with me! I'm happy to try and answer questions!

Try and get into an Aulani presentation over at the Disnelyand Hotel since you're there!

I went to the Aulaini presentation this afternoon. I thought it was pretty silly. They took over an hour to present maybe 20 mins. worth of information. Of course there was a lot of stick in between. The discounts were pretty good though! At best it was 102/ per point

Please let us know if you were able to watch WOC, and also share your experience at Napa Rose. My DH and I had a fabulous dinner there! Hopefully, you will get Rodney as your waiter! He is the best!

Yes please share your experience with Napa Rose, will be going there next month for the first time! Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday and enjoy your stay. Let us know any details and post some photos when you get a chance. Love to stay at VGC one day.

I'm home now. It was a wonderful stay! I wasn't sure if spending 22 points for one night would be worth it, especially when I only have 50 points a year, but it was really special. I didn't take any pictures of the room. It was a lock off studio, and it looked just like every other picture of a VGC studio I've seen. I did love my room location. It was room 2025. Here's the view from my balcony:

I had dinner with my family at the Chef's Counter of Napa Rose. It was an amazing meal! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to do something special.

After dinner I got back to my room in time to watch the 11:15 World of Color. It was not a great view of the show, but since I had already seen it the night before it didn't really matter. I would compare my view of World of Color to watching Illuminations from the Boardwalk. Here are a few pictures:

I might have to make a stay at VGC an annual event!

That was my room, too, just last month! It was a good location, but I just kept thinking "two floors up and I would have the perfect view of the WOC CM preview". Enjoy!:thumbsup2

Two floors up and you would have been in the park view GV! :cutie:

Sounds like you had a fun time. Did you take any pictures of the room?

Nice pics and I think you should make VGC an annual event.
