AT&T cell phones....

ATT has a new motorola droid phone that came out earlier this month. I just ordered it, and should be here by the weekend. Plus right now they are free w/ the contract Good reviews on the phone, and most people I have talked w/ say the droid phones are awesome.

I've never had phone envy before, but literally cannot wait for it to arrive. I am so excited.

As for ATT service. Been with them since the took Cingular over (maybe 3-4 years) with no problems and excellent customer service, IMO. They kept me on my old plan w/ the family share. We have 4 phones on our account. 850 shared minutes, unlimited texting, and unlimited media plans on three of the 4 phones for around $180/month. It will go up w/ my new phone since it is a smart phone, but still only by $20. Plus we have so many rollover minutes banked that we should never run out of minutes.

I have AT&T for work and the iPhone. I HATE, LOATHE and DESPISE AT&T's coverage (and am not so darn thrilled with the iPhone either)! I cover the entire eastern seaboard and dropping calls and having no signal is now a way of life for my work phone. The corporate office got suckered into a "sweet deal" with AT&T and switched us from Verizon.

I have verizon for my personal cell, and have no issues what so ever for coverage. My wife has the motorola Droid and it is ten times the phone of the iPhone. We love the Droid and would never switch from Verizon to AT&T!

I can't state it strongly enough, do NOT switch from Verizon's coverage network to AT&T simply for a phone. The Driod is a wonderful phone, and you KNOW that Verizon is going to have a newer version of the iPhone shortly.

Do NOT switch!
