$ at Shutters?

Ive read a couple of threads to day referring to the high cost of the photos they sell. How much are they?

We take our first disney cruise in August!

We just got back a couple of weeks ago and bought several of our pictures that were taken. They cost $10.00 for a 6x8 and $20.00 for the 8x10 size. I was'nt going to buy but one, but ended up getting 2 of the 6x8 s and 2 8x10. They make great souviners for our older children and they turn out very nice. They are always snapping shots of you all over the ship and on Castaway Cay so you will have lots to choose from, just get to Shutters the night or the next day after they have been taken, sometimes it takes a little while to find yourselves among all the pictures they display.

A little more info that might help:

You don't get a choice on the size pictures you want. Typically the formal portraits with the backdrops are the 8x10's and snapshots and character pictures without the backdrops are 6x8's.

We were let in on a little trick by our table mates when we sailed last October regarding the pictures.

They offer packages that in some cases work out to the good. But it's hard to know if you'll have or want the number of pictures it takes to get one of the packages.

Our tablemates told us to just find out pictures each night and put them all together in one of the slots(if you've never been, you'll know what I mean when you see how the photos are displayed). Then at the end of the cruise, you can go back and grab all of your photos and sift through and figure which ones you want to keep, etc, and pay for them at one time. It turned out we didn't end up needing the packages because we only wanted a couple 6X8's and a few 8X10's so it was cheaper for us to buy them individually.

I thought I read once that if you wait till the last day they offer a cheaper package or a bonus album or something , is this true ?
