Staying at the Disneyland hotel and having a great time!! The concierge level has wonderful breakfast and snacks. The hotel staff has been amazing. We did the visa free travel to Shanghai and it was super easy!!

There is absolutely no one here - it is a little weird :) The hotel is empty and the park deserted. We did Tron, Pirates, Dumbo, Dwarves, Crystal Grotto, Carousel, Peter Pan and castle in the first 90 minutes after the park opened which it did 30 minutes early - and no line for security or tickets. So different than what I expected. I imagined huge crowds on a weekend here.

We were way ahead of our schedule we decided to see the castle show today and then eat lunch at Toy Story hotel. We were the only customers at Sunnyside Cafe for the 45 minutes we stayed there!! It was delicious and fun! Being so ahead of our itinerary allows us to take a nap each day which i love!

After tea at the hotel we will head back for the parade and Tarzan and finish walking around, dinner and fireworks. With no crowd this is easily a one day park! Tomorrow we can just relax and do things twice :)

Wow... exciting, yet strangely odd. No people, no lines... you sure you're at Disney? Have a great time and enjoy your naps too!!

Went back and did Tron, Peter Pan, Pooh and dinner at Stargazer cafe. Now at Bacchus lounge at the hotel. No one is at the park at all - it is so strange!!

2 other thoughts - we have walked from the Disneyland hotel to the park a few times now - very very convenient and easy across a beautiful bridge - takes about 7-10 minutes - quicker than the ferry or bus. We walked to Toy Story from the parks and it was about 15 ish minutes but across a parking lot and not scenic. They ask for your room key if you are walking in and did not want to let us in until we said we just wanted to eat at Sunnyside cafe. Security is strict at the hotels.
We also attended the Tarzan show but found it a little boring and had some rude people in front of us on their phones and talking loudly. First rude behavior from guests I have seen. Almost everyone has been super friendly and the staff here amazing!!

So strange. Any idea why the crowds are so low? Has anyone else been seeing this?

Today is Monday and the parks were more crowded today. Restaurants empty and stores empty but wait times up to 10 minutes on average and over 100 for Soarin (but because there were no fast passes available today for that ride).

Best part today was able to do meet and greets with Nick and Judy, Darth Vader, C3PO, R2D2, Kylo Ren all with NO wait what so ever. Darth was begging for people - these would have been huge waits at home!!

Also ate at Royal Banquet tonight and it was amazing - loved the food - had crab cake, salmon.

Pirates and Peter Pan were broken down today as well, so happy did them yesterday! The Discovery ropes challenge was amazing today as well.

One last thing - the sun came out today first time we have seen blue sky in China :)

What a wonderful stay - tomorrow off to Tokyo for some more Disney fun!!
