Yesterday I was able to ride at rope drop and happened by FP at around 12:30 and got a FP for 8:15 to 9:15 so they lasted awhile. Just a heads up since I knew this was something I was wondering before my trip. Also if your car has no sound say something! We rode twice yesterday before 8:20 because of this! I would of had no idea, but we were with AP's who told a cast member and we were immediately put on another car.

It looks like with the longer operating days and Soarin' re-opening, the RSR FPs are lasting longer into the day now. It's also worth noting that they do not distribute FPs while the attraction is closed. This happened on Monday (at least based on Ask Otto). RSR was down for about an hour, so that can also impact how long into the day FPs last.

I didn't think of that! It could of been down at one point. I was just so excited to get a night time FP later in the day

Yes I saw this first hand both Mon and Tuesday. I was unable to get FPs because both days when I went the ride was down and they were not giving them out. Then later I went back when the ride was working and they were all out of FPs. If it wasn't for Indy breaking down on Monday and the CMs giving us a FP good for any ride we would not have been able to ride RSR the first two days without waiting in the standby line which means I wouldn't be riding.

We go back tomorrow for our last day and I will try and ride RSR first thing and then grab FPs after of its working of course.
