the new beds are soft.
my back was not designed for a soft bed.
but good news - housekeeping can bring up a board.
guess should be happy that OKW is no longer my home resort.

also don't like the new style - yes it is pretty. but it no longer matches the outside. So unless they are planning on repainting all these building - really think they should rethink this design plan.

Oh, good to know that the beds are softer... WE love OKW- own there and at BLT and AK.. OKW is our favorite but I always dreaded the uncomfy beds ( hard as a rock to me) over there.. I have picked BLT a few times just because of the bed issue.

believe me the beds are much softer at OKW than BLT these days.

most of the time can do BLT without a board. that is no longer possible at OKW.

that say who decided that between the beds was a good place for the internet connection.

really think the people who come up with these ideals should be forced to live in them for at least a month. and on the internet a good part of that time.

it means basic that the only way to get the internet connection is from one of the beds. now if these were the old beds - not a problem. but something so soft that I sink into it and they actually expect you to be able to use the internet....

okay maybe I am just tool old.

really like changes - but sometimes when the changes actually hurt (my back) want the old stuff back.

I happen to love really soft beds, so this makes me happy. We're trying OKW for the first time this summer and I'm looking forward to it!

Interesting, we stayed in Bldg 47 in January. I didn't find the new bed soft at all and I have a cronically sore back. :confused3 Perhaps just got lucky.

Thanks for the tip about the board. DH and I both suffer from back and hip problems and prefer a hard bed. :)

Yes, thanks for the board tip. My sciatica much prefers a hard bed.

I'm interested to see DH's reaction to the new rehabs. I mentioned it to him, all the new styles and colors, new furniture, etc. and how some people liked/disliked things. He just shrugged and said "Same big rooms? Same big porches? Same CMs? I'm sure it'll be OK." It will be interesting to see if he's still as OK with it when he sees it.
