At OKW and LOVE it

We always say we are going to try someplace else on our next trip but somehow end up at OKW and couldn't be happier. Won't be back there till the end of May.

The only thing I have to say is that OKW not the wow factor of some of the other stations, but it has its own atmosphere, relaxed and casual. I love it and the large rooms are a bonus.

It's by far our favorite DVC resort! We are going to be in a 1 bedroom at OKW the first week of December and in a GV there the last week of January.

OKW is for everyone! It is such a laid back place, great theme pool, nice neighborhood pools, Olivia's wonderful food, and HUGE rooms. My DD loves it because she can spread out!

I agree! OKW is for everyone... we have only stayed at one other DVC property (Boardwalk) and I was disappointed to go from such a wonderful room, to a hotel room at the BW. Not that BW wasn't nice, I would like to stay there again, but I just can't pull myself away from OKW!! I love the villa/condo feel, the big balcony, great landscaping, Olivia's, GS, laid back atmosphere, Jimmy Buffett music on the busses and on the property... I could go on and on.

My kids love coming back from the parks, and jumping into one of the pools (Not the main pool, and no one is EVER in them at night) and having the entire pool to themselves! Now if they want to go to the main pool, mom and dad don't mind, as it's a stone's throw from Gurgling Suitcase! LOL Plenty of play areas for the kids, BBQ grills, big rooms, I don't know what's NOT to love about OKW... and I see many age ranges while I'm there. Last trip I saw more strollers than I can count. It really is a great resort.

That being said, I HAVE to make myself book other resorts, and SOON! I really would like to try them but I don't want to be disappointed & wish I had booked OKW.

We love OKW too. We are staying there in Jan. for our 3rd OKW stay. We are also hoping for a 2 br. refurb near the HH. Love the boat ride over to DTD

We might be staying at OKW 12/18!! Really wasn't planning on a December trip this year....son getting married 12/11!!!! However, my DSIL remarked that it's just not Christmas season until we hit Disney!! Sooooooo, we're looking into it. Does anyone know if all the rooms have been refurbished?? I know it doesn't really matter, but it would be nice to experience one of them! We've stayed at OKW many times & do love it!!
