At Ohana Now

we enjoyed seeing the fireworks from Ohana, the food and the service was a little lacking. We nearly did not get any of the meats as the server was trying to rush the desserts out. DH of course had two lots of dessert.

We have been there 3x in the last 2 years. 1st and 2nd times great service, good food, not great just good but both times our servers were fantastic. Especially the 2nd time as our server was from the same home town as my DSIL so she loved coming by and asking questions about the old neighborhoods. 3rd time food was good but service was so-so. I do feel it had alot to do with the time of day we were eating. Our reservation was for 9:30 pm and when we got there you could tell the servers were tired and done for the day. Tables were not cleaned and servers were sitting at some of the empty tables. I don't think I would go that late again.....

I am sorry this happened to the OP.

Not that it matters, but to those who might want to cancel O'Hana, we have been there around 6 times for dinner in the past five years and always had a wonderful meal. We did have so so service back in 2008 when our server just sort of disappeared (it was late, I think our ADR was around 9:00, I do remember seeing Wishes at 10:00). We finally found someone else to take care of our bill so we could leave!

We did O'Hana last June with our friends, it was their anniversary and the one and only ADR they made for their one week trip and it was wonderful. We had been on the DDP for 9 nights and to be honest not one meal, even places like the Wave, Boma and Yachtsmen (which I love) stand out in my mind as much as that dinner at O'Hana. We had great servers who really spent time with us since we had a food allergy and a special occasion, and our friends still talk about that night.

So while I understand lots of people won't agree, to us O'Hana has never disappointed.

Its in my top 5 favorites at WDW and has been for some time now. But again, its just me.

Our meal at 'Ohana was just ok. It was the first night of our trip, so we were especially excited and easygoing, and our server just was not very nice. The service was not very good, but the food was ok. Definitely nothing out of this world, and I do agree with some PP that the restaurant is overrated.

Ok, I'm here right now and this has been one of the worst meals ever. Service has been terrible and the food has been not good. All the food has been cold. This is about our fifth or sixth time to Ohana and this has been the worst. Our server has basically ignored us. The chicken wings was dried out and all the meat and sides have been cold.

Same thing happened to us, only if was our first time. We spoke to the manager and they put our dining credits back on our dining plan, and also gave us free deserts. We left hungry, and got dinner at our own resort when we got back. The only good part was the bread.

We won't ever be going back.

Sorry to hear this, we have had consistantly good service both with DDP and OOP since 1998. It's our younger DDs favorite, in fact I'm scrambling now (as is the CR IPO) to get anearly reservation for our upcoming May trip.
