It is our last day and our 4 year old saw the skyliner a few days ago and wanted to ride for fun. What would make the most sense? Ride monorail to Epcot and get in there? I just don’t know where the shortest return trip would be to MK. We are staying at Movies, but are already on bus to MK. Thanks!!!!

If you took the monorail to Epcot, you would then need to walk to the back of Epcot to the International Gateway. You could get on the skyliner there, and take it to Caribbean Beach, get off there, then take the bus back to MK. For a longer ride, you could transfer at Caribbean Beach, continue on the skyliner to Pop/AOA and then take bus back to MK

Unless you have Park Hopper, you cannot get off Epcot monorail and go through park to Skyliner. It is at the International Gateway entrance. You should take bus to one of the Boardwalk area hotels and then walk over to the Skyliner entrance from here. Like Beach Club, for example.

lol, I was just going to edit my post to add “park hopper needed”

Take a bus to CBR or Riviera. Skyliner to EPCOT..Bus from resort to MK

Bus to CBR,or pop or AoA. Skyliner to DHS. Bus to Contemporary
Walk to MK

I think it's a waste of probably a good 2 hours or more.

Its a long walk through epcot. I wouldn't suggest it

Bus to Beach Club.

Walk into lobby, ask for directions to Skyliner.

Talk the Skyliner to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with a transfer at Caribbean Beach Resort.

Once at DHS, take whatever bus to return to where you want to end (e.g. back to Magic Kingdom or All Star Movies).

Not a waste, if the kid wants to ride it. It's more fun than half the rides at MK.

OP, I would take bus to BC and walk to Epcot IG to ride. Ride Skyliner to CBR for nice views of BW resort, Epcot & CBR. If the kid wants more, transfer and ride to Pop/AoA for a nice low level glide over Hourglass Lake, then bus to MK from AoA.
