FlyLady Habit for the month: July - Swish and Swipe
This week we are in: Zone 4: The Master Bedroom (July 21 - 25)

Link to FlyLady site: http://flylady.com/index.asp

Today I need to:

Swish and Swipe

Take DS20 to have his wisdom teeth out

Take care of DS20 after surg  (Hope the vultures are gone by then)

Make something soft for DS20 dinner

Make something better for us :lmao:

Just in case the dentist forgets to mention it, no straws! No smoking either, but hopefully he is too young for that warning. The suction from those can cause the blood clot to come out and then you get "dry socket" and I've heard that is very painful.

Tomorrow is going to be an exhausting day. DH is taking us out in the AM, but in the PM we will be tearing up our basement flooring. Pergowannabe has to be removed, the subflooring has to be lifted up.
We have mold.

Remember back in the spring when we had 1/2" of water from the drain off backing up? Yup, that was where the mold came from. We don't know the extent of it. Is it just on the floors or did it travel to the walls? Everything in the basement needs a new home. It was where all the kids toys were. Those are migrating to the bedrooms. Where we will put the furniture & TV is beyond me. Guess that will be figured out tomorrow.

This means my last three groups for the Sports swap won't be done until Monday. I just know the basement thing is going to take longer than I want it to.

Off to go label the pieces so that perhaps we can at least reuse those and only have to replace the subfloor.

Well we are going to Kings Dominion so I won't be on. However thats the good news my whole list is.

Have fun!!!

AWM, thanks so much for the info!!! I passed it on to DS20. He is making his "last meal" right now...LOL...

They also said because his teeth are older, that he might have more difficulity...but the dentist told us not to get them done till he is older...then the oral surg says they are very mature, and if the roots are close to his sinus it could be really serious...

So, I ask you...who do you believe these days...every doc has a different opinion :confused3

Debbie, PD to your son and a  for you for taking care of your not so little boy. Hope everything goes smoothly. How did DH do after his PT?

AWM, what a turmoil your house must be in. PD that everything is cleaned up and put to the norm quickly. Mold :scared1: is not something you can leave though, is it.

My to do list:

First and foremost - Stay awake. We had bad storms thru the night, kept waking us up. I am in serious need of caffeine this morning.:surfweb:
Still need to copy our taxes
Get DD ready for school.
Bring DN to horse camp.

ARoyer, how are you making out with the hurricane rains?

Wow, that sounds like it's going to be a huge job. Good luck, and hope the damage isn't too bad!! :wizard:

pixiedust: to ddavis's DS - Although I never had any wisdom teeth (so that explains why I act blonde when I'm not blonde...:lmao: ), I have had 12 teeth pulled - rest is a good thing...have him pick out some movies now...he won't know anything later... :)

pixiedust: to AWM - I only have one word - Yuck! I'm sorry you have to do all of that!

pixiedust: to Lisa - we had similar storms. I just one good night's sleep too! :)

jennyL - have a great time today!

Here is my list...

2. Mail sports! Finally finished last night!:woohoo:
3. Start packing for Maine:cutie:
4. Last day of camp stuff organized - pictures, lunch bags, beads...:scared:
5. Still have to put away the :laundy: ...:rolleyes1

Thanks guys. It totally figures, the basement was just about complete. We put in the shelves in the built in bookcases and had things arranged on them.

We knew there was a problem by one of the support poles. There were ants last year and I put some Seven dust around the opening. Guess that is the medium that started the mold after the flood. So it is my fault. There goes my cure of my martyr complex. It is back now.;) I had been bleaching and cleaning with little bottle brushes as soon as we smelled it. Then DH was doing something close to the floor two days ago and smelled the mold through the subfloor and flooring. Not good. It is a good five feet from the pole. Who knows where it has spread. The only way to get to that spot is start dissambling the floor from the other side of the room.

We have to do it. We can't live with mold. Both boys get allergy shots and mold is one of the things they are allergic.

Off to go do the allergy shot and then take them out until after lunch.

Enjoy you day everyone!

Pixie Dust to your DS Debbie.. I know when DH had his out about 5 years ago.. his recovery was a little harder but the roots were not close to his sinus... so I hope DS has the same luck.. Although DH looked like I blacked his eyes!

I'm so sorry to hear about the mold AWM. I know when we had our little flooding in June, my friend shop-vacked and dried the floors... and than DH came home and bleached them.. we couldn't sleep down there for days... but we didn't want any mold and no mold was there at the time and still hasn't been.. I hope the problem isn't as bad as you think..

Sorry to hear about all the storms for you all out East.. We had one on Sunday that was awful.. awful.. the first day of the fair.. the wind was so bad that it was bouncing the metal roofs off the barns and freaking out the animals... not to mention blowing everyone's awnings that we up for the all day adventures.. We had to dodge trees to get back to the fairgrounds to check our animal..

I've been wondering about aroyer the past two days.. especially last night.. I need to contact my cousin in the Army because his wife's family is from Padre Island...

Today:

1. Dishesdone
2. ABC swap
3. bank/pay 2 bills done
4. DS12 to work @ cafe' DD is going w/ him to help out and hang w/ friends done
5. pick up kids @ 2:15pm done

Update on DS20...he's fine...high as a kite...I almost wet my pants laughing right there in the office, he was being so funny. The girls told me he had been singing the Pokemon song, and when I went back they were having a discussion about what sounds the Pokemon make...And LOUD...boy was he being loud!!!

He has no memory of any of it, and now is wondering what other things the girls were making him do... Me, being supportive mom that I am said...

"Well Honey, they have to get their jollies somehow"

The best thing the girl told me was as he was getting high on the gas, he offered them all some...He just says he wanted to share :hippie:

Debbie,

Does he have a follow up visit? If so, I'd call the girls in the office and have them all smile and giggle when he comes back in for his follow up!!! :) He'll be wondering for years what he did!!!

Glad he came out if it well and only scab is the pokemon song ringing out in the office!!!

Glad you DS is okay with only minor embarassing moments.

Holly, let us know how it goes.

Got the first 1/4 labeled, now back to label another 1/4 and then we have to start the moving of things out of the basement. No more space to slide stuff to.

oh debbie glad he is ok. that's funny with the pokemon song!!! good for him for having fun with the girls in the office!!!!
