Yuck Hope! We are having awful thunderstorms. Mom had hail yesterday the size of golf balls. I'm not good in this kind of weather.

Glad to hear you have your dryer back!!! It's so nice to have one available and not try to go some where w/ the kids in tow or hope you can get the load of jeans dry!!!

Well, things are a royal mess here. DH is trying to get home from downtown. Buses are running, but they are very late. I probably will have to get in the car and drive to the park and ride to get him, if he can get a bus. His best friend here, lives a block away from DH's office...but he is in Miami this week.

I walked 200 ft up the main road to see what it was like. The walk up there was okay, but the walk back...I was walking into the wind, and I couldn't see, white stuff blowing in everywhere. I might as well have been walking with my eyes closed. The main road didn't look too horrible though, but visibility is terrible. I only have to go on the main road to get to the park & ride. It's 3 miles away though, but I don't want DH having to walk from there to here.

I think BFF needs to start leaving his keys w/ DH from now on so he can stay in town if he needs too! I wouldn't walk 3 miles in that... you were brave to walk the 200 ft...

DH and I are both home, safe and sound. The worst part was getting into a parking spot in the complex. Somebody took the spot I came from, and with the drifting, I kept getting stuck.

By the time he got a bus, the wind had died down, so visibility was much improved. On the way back, we were following the plows, so the roads were pretty good.

Great to hear!!! Good to know.. and lets find who took your spot and shove them in that drift! Didn't they know that was YOUR spot! LOL I hate when that stuff happens...and it never fails.. it does!!!

We're having a blizzard. 8-16" expected.

My Mom just laughed at me...it is approaching 90 down there, and they are going swimming.
