Sleep in - Slept until 7:00 am, felt great
Book airfare to Disney. DONE!!!!
Take DD to the dentist. She has a cavity to have filled.
Put laundry away
Write check for new fridge and oven that are coming today.

Work
Shrimp scampi for dinner
No S.O. swim tonight. Nice to have the break.

It's just crazy how your body reacts to a surgery...even a little tiny one. Honestly, I was better after my gall bladder, than I am after this one. It's just so stinking annoying because every time I blink, I feel it. I look like I lost a fight and I almost feel like it...just weird!

The funniest thing (well funny to me) was when we were leaving the surgicenter, and the doc came in to discharge me, he thought DH was my father OMG!! I'm saying "This is my husband" and the doc is acting like we are trying to pull one over on him. So, I'm saying "He was just kidding around" in the car home, and DH was "no he wasn't"... Now it's not the first time this has happened, my DH started going gray in his 20s...but it hasn't happened for a while, so I figured I finally caught up to him. So, now DH is saying stuff like "Daddy knows best"... Oh boy

As usual I am the last to post a list.

Don't really know what I am gonna do today. Not a fun day in MommyLand yesterday - gonna take it easy today. Do need diapers however so will have to venture to town I suppose. Maybe go over to LSS and check it out. Do some laundry. Just not happy with the scheduling stress around here right now and I have my brain working on a solution. So can't do too many things while brain is working on it. Might confuse myself!

Keeping it simple in CA today. Everyone have a great Thursday in your neck of the woods!

Debbie, take it easy. The Daddy story is funny! We had something like that happen when I was teenager in the Keys. My aunt from England came to visit and me, my Mom, and my aunt were at a restaurant and they waiter comes to the table and says how wonderful it is to have 3 generations sitting together. My aunt was NOT amused to be considered my Mom's mother!!!! My Mom and I still laugh about it!

My day so far has been to sleep! I think what I thought was a cold is actually the flu. Yuck! I do have a couple of things to do today, but mostly I think I'm going to take my book and just read.

Here's what I need to get done:

E-mail roster to scout troop
E-mail those in troop that still owe $$
Feed the cats (they've been complaining)
E-mail list of scouts going to each summer camp to the scout master
