At Least 3 things ~3/13/08~

Yeah! Thursday.. My night is rough...but I'm taking time for myself today... so I really need to get started as soon as I type this post..

First my BF from home called this morning.. She was due to have surgery for a hernia (sp).. anesthesiologist came back told her to get dressed and go home..but on the way call the OB/GYN. So, now we are all in shock.. We didn't even suspect this.... I hope to hear more this afternoon.. she & I both cried...

Today:

1. Empty Dishwasher NEVER did..
2. Make beds Done
3. last load of Done
4. Put away Done
5. pick up kdg. child Done
6. go sign PTO checks Done
7. scrapbook
8. find missing sports photos Still looking
9. dinner in crockpot events tonight. Ordered pizza
10. Pick up DD from track 5p Done
11. make sure DD has clarinet before we leave the school Done
12. DD home to change quickly Done
13. Drop DD off at school for concert @ 6pm (has to be there early) Done
14. Run to elem. school and get raffle set up for other parent to run for meDone
15. go back to HS for DD's concert by 6:30pm Done
16. DH to take care of the boys' events tonight! done
17. get list ready for Friday done, 1.5 pages!
18. need to grab money for DD's concert tonight, yep we pay admission to see their concerts! Done

ok my day is shot to hell. MIL fell this morning and is in the hospital. Good thing I was down the road at the Drs office. She will be staying over night for observation.

BTW DD is perfectly healthy and happy as a clam because she didn't need shots. She is in the 75% range for height and weight, hopefully she will be taller than me!

Hey Nancy, you left out one very important detail about your hometown BFF. The reason why she needs to see her OB/GYN!!!!!!!

nancy, why did the dr. cancel the surgery?! Oh dear, I hope everything will be ok.

Buffy, is MIL okay? Did she break anything?

Glad to hear DD is healthy Buffy!!! Yeah!!! Tell her Auntie N is very, very proud and sending her my wuv!!! :0

Sorry all, I was so shocked by the news that I forgot to tell you why she needs to go to the OB/GYN... well, that hernia..that is causing her back pain and such...probably isn't a hernia....her blood work came back and said she is pregnant!!! Due to some medication that she is on, things aren't always on track... so we don't know how far along she is.. She goes in next Tuesday to get some info. She is very scared..in the past year she has been dx. w/ high BP, high cholesterol, and diabetes.. along w/ her thryoid she has been dealing w/ for years. We are hoping for the best but she is very scared... I told her we'd get through this... I'm going to go down in a few weeks during Spring Break to spend some time w/ her...and if she needs me before than.. .it's only an hour drive... So, if all of you could say a prayer for her and a healthy baby that would be much appreciated...

I will pray for her! I hope all goes well. Keep us posted, and if she needs any baby stuff let me know! I'm ready to chuck the baby stuff. LOL


MIL got up to use the bathroom and when her walker hit the tile floor it ran away from her. She was really sick with the stomach flu last week and she was weak and dehydrated. We told her to go to the hospital last week and get a shot for the nausea but she didn't listen. Well my DR, DH, and all the nurses where like yep, if you came in a week ago you probably wouldn't be here now. Not that she'll listen or learn her lesson.

I was so skeeved out at the hospital. It felt like all the germs were crawling all over me. I wouldn't let DD touch anything, including the floor. I came home and scrubbed head to toe!

I hear ya!!! I would have done the same thing w/ DD... actually, I won't let me kids touch anything either... and I carry the germX out in the open!!! Put this on.. don't touch... did you hear me.. I'm sure the cleaning people are glad when I leave! LOL

Sorry to hear MIL fell but had she listened last week...

I'll let you know about my friend... especially if she is further along than we are expecting we may need to go in a emergency preparedness plan!
