Holly, you sooooo should!!! It's fabulous and easy! She teaches babysteps so you don't get overwhelmed. I'm telling you, my house is lookin good!

Debbie, I want to thank you for posting the FlyLady links. I finally went to the website almost 3 weeks ago. Can I just tell you how fabulous my house looks? It's amazing! My kitchen is looking glam- drawers are getting cleaned out! The dining room baseboards are clean and gleaming! DH is amazed and is even HELPING! I owe you big time Deb!

:thumbsup2 Way to go!! It really is amazing what you can get done in just 15 min. My mom was born organized, and a non packrat. She was also a crummy teacher of things like cleaning and organizing. DH is born organized too. While I'm still a Flybaby, I really can see a difference if I work it. My big thing is the swish and swipe. This I do, and it works. Dh is a stickler for the clean kitchen, so shiney sink was always done. And I tell the youngins at work to have some dish liquid in the shower and a bathpuff just for cleaning...my shower sparkles all the time...

Funny thing is i have been a Flybaby for years. I told DH a long time ago about it and he was poo poo all the time. THEN he was out of town with HIS family, and they were talking about Flylady, and how great she is. Cousins of his from Texas and Florida. And then it was the greatest..."What zone are you in this week"? Why is it when OTHER people say something THEN it's not poo poo? :confused3

I LOVE the flylady websites, too! I just got a chance to look at them this week when DS was sick. The next morning, I did the morning routine baby step of just wiping down the bathroom when I left after a shower--DH came out and said, "The bathroom looks great!!" :thumbsup2

AWM--I didn't see your post earlier! Lots of pixie dust to you that y'all get better soon!! :wizard:

I love swish and swiping the bathroom- it always looks good! Last night we had an impromptu dinner guest, I didn't spend 2 hours running around like a crazy person cleaning. I wasn't embarrassed when he had to use the master bathroom instead of the guest bathroom (it was occupied).

DH thinks I'm batty as I give him a tour of what drawers and cabinets I have cleaned out! :lmao:

:rotfl2: I do that too! AND when I open the drawer, I sing like it's a choir of angels and the light from above is shining in there :lmao:

I like it when mine gets all ready to clean something...and goes "WHOA" when he sees that it's already done. Like the cleaning the counters one the other day. The next day he was there with a rag looking for crumbs behind the toaster..."WHOA"

Yesterday I was going around with my Flylady duster, and he loves to tell me how that doesn't work. But when I do it, it does work. And when I was done, it looked cleaner, and it only took 5 min to do the whole first floor.

I haven't bought any of the cleaning supplies...yet. I am very interested in them, I'm just a little overwhelmed by all the choices!

I have bought things over the years... I love to buy tools and supplies...I'm really a textbook SHE! I'm also from the original Pam and Peggy group, and have the tapes to prove it. WOW, that shows how old I really am :scared1:

I can recommend the calendar 1000%. It's by far the best one I've ever used. Before I used a big desk blotter calendar, but you have to rip off the pages, so I was saving them in my desk, which was more clutter... Mine hangs on the fridge. I do have a planner in my purse though, which she doesn't approve of. Mine comes from buzzimom at bizzi2go.com. I love it because it fits in my purse, but the actual calendar is huge. You have to see it to understand, but the pages unfold. I can write normally, not in code, and I can see it w/o my glasses (there goes that old thing again)

I was a long time getting around to buying the duster. I tried one from the market first...then DH's poo poo of the feather duster...but I finally just tried it, I really do like it.

I have a rubba scrubba, and I use that to get the dust puppies out of the corners and edges of the carpet on the steps. And I've tried it on the pups, but it doesn't work that well on mine.

I just got the new big mouth water bottles, but I haven't used them yet. I got one for DH for his bday at the end of the month, so I can't use mine yet either... I showed them to him online, and exlained how it openes this way for ice, then has a smaller cap for drinking. He was poo poo as usual, for a few min. Then he comes back and starts asking questions about it. So, I figured I'd buy it for him, as he is really trying to work out at the gym, and hates plastic water bottles.

And just today I was looking at the mop, but I think I'll stick with my wet jet. I have a big kitchen, and that little pad would always be drying out. I think the wet jet works better for me.
