It's Monday again!! Everyone Caffeinate!!

Today is a holiday around the US...sort of... some places are closed, some are open... no school...

• move the jewelry shelves up from the basement and organize
• finish the wire cubes and organize
• sort and organize clear stamps into binders

-Maybe go to the dollar sore for more shoe boxes
-Maybe go to BJ's to pick up glasses if I get the call
-Maybe go to Walmart to get birdseed that DH couldn't find when he did the shopping on Friday

Dust then vacuum the family, computer & bedrooms.
Work on swaps.
Figure out dinner - thinking a Bertolli baking thing.
Help with homework.

Since it's President's Day, there's no school!!! You'd think since DH works for the State that they'd be off too, but state offices are open so he's off to work.

My list for today:

Laundry
Tidy up from weekend
Make sure DS does the jobs around here he's supposed to do
Go grocery shopping
Maybe run to JoAnn's and Michaels
Work on swaps
Close Character Swap signups and get progress thread up
Dinner - lasagna hotdish

mornin' ladies!

well no school for us for the week!!!! how great is that. i think i'll take a few days off myself. today we are off anyway, so maybe i'll take tomorrow and friday and just work wed, thurs. that's my plan anyway!

so ds and i are hanging out and low key today. he's feeling better today, but still cough, cough, cough. but at least we all slept last night.
thanks for asking Deb. is Nan's little one still sick?? Hope he's feeling better.
I'd like to run to Jo's today and AC Moore but not sure if I will.

so my list.....

breakfast w/ ds- pancakes!

pay some bills
laundry - this never ends!!!!
put away birthday gifts. - i try to put some in his closet because he gets so much for christmas & then his birthday right after. this way he can have something new every few months. he did get lots of legos and some doubles for his birthday. I'd like to take them back and get him something different. My dad sent him $. That goes right into the bank acct.
prep supper. -looking for something good.
make supper calendar for the next couple weeks.
make grocery list for saturday.
make thank you cards
print some pics out.


ok that should do it. have a great Presidents Day everyone and have fun!

No school here so I slept in. Just DS13 is awake, but he had friends spend the night. Not sure what I will et done today with DS's friends around and DD has a head cold. PLus my washer has a leak and I need a new hose. Hoping DH got the old one off so I can get a new one. If not, I wil have to go to the laudramat to do wash while DS12 is at diving...


shower and get ready

tidy living room
vacuum living, office and upstairs
dust living room
take ds12 to diving
laundry somehow sorted and ready to go
get new hose for washing machine
help DS13 with paper due Tues.

It was on the Skittles thread -

It will be later this week that I try.. .DS8 decided a trip to the ER was a must do on Valentine's Day!!! Complained of neck pain w/ a few other symptoms.. pediatrician says "ER"!!!! Luckily it was nothing more than a middle ear infection w/ a swollen lymph node and he is on ABT's and pain meds (which we were already doing the rotation schedule for those) and we have a follow up w/ the pediatrician when the ABT is complete. Poor guy... he is looking much better today so mom can try to scrap between loads of laundry while he naps...

nothing planned for today- just visiting and taking pictures- I have taken over 600 pictures since Saturday morning so far. I will probably need to change cards soon.

I'm here... too much on my list to even bore you with today.
DS8 is still home.. he worked himself into a tizzy because he'd be going back to school that resulted in a great evening! (NOT~).... so far today no temp and meds are down him! DH stayed home because of my lack of sleep.. I look like someone beat me up.... even DD's hs friends were giving me crap...but they got the mommy look and decided to take my cart out to the van and load my van for me instead of getting the lecture! Gotta love them... I think they also didn't want me to bust them for leaving campus today for lunch!!! (senioritis)

I picked up my new glasses, and can I just say...blech! I'm so friggin dizzy, I can't stand it. "Try it for a couple of days and they should be fine" when I called the Dr office

But I do look cute

Isn't being dizzy a sign that the glasses aren't right? Did you have glasses before? Are they bifocal?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. They are reading glasses...I didn't get the bifocals. I've been wearing dollar store glasses for years, but now 1 eye is at 2.75, and the other is at 2.50, so she recommended I get the real script. They seem a bit better now, just not moving my head too fast...

Not sure if they are right yet or not...

So I went to Staples to get some page protectors to organize my clear stamps. I saw what I wanted on someone's blog. Anyway, Staples didn't have them, so I go to Office Max. Store looked really strange, but I didn't think anything about it, and they didn't have what I wanted either, so I was walking out with DS17. We see a clearance isle...and there were the things I was looking for...at 50% off already clearance price. Turns out DS17 and I walked right by the signs that said the store location was closing. Then I found a $35 binder for $3.50, and bookends for $2.50 reg $11.99.

So, needless to say I was doing the happy dance all the way home
