Sorry for posting so late! :flower3:

What 3 things (or more) are you planning to accomplish? Return later and post you're done...

I need to :

1) Sleep in...DH took DS to carpool done :teeth:

2) Take cold meds feeling better than I was yesterday

3) pack up stuff for Jewelry class done

4) Teach jewelry class, and try not to infect the students...

5) Slap DH for the nasty bugs he brought into the house!!!

Not sure what will get done today.
Woke up to the house across street engulfed in flames. Thank God that the people were not home. They are in process of moving and were at the new house. It looks like the ice & electric are to blame.
No school today.
DH home today, driveway still blocked by trucks.

Sorry to hear about the bad bug in your house ddavis.

Wow, what an awful way to start the day. Glad no one was in the house.

Wow, that is so scary!! Glad the people weren't home. How terrible for them, and the new owners too!!

Hope you are stocked up with milk and TP. That is the joke at my house when we are expecting weather...got to go to the store for milk and TP...then we laugh as we pass the people with the tp in their carts...OK, so it's funny in person :confused3 guess you have to be there....

Thanks for the good wishes. Some guy exposed DH at work, and he was so nice to share. So far the kids are fine, just DH, then me, but its DU96 that I'm worried about. I'll give him 1 day to improve, then DH is going to have to take him to the Dr.

9. make prints for CJ Done and bought candy/candy containers for the Valentines' party for DS.. now to add to the list that I need to decorate, cut heart goodie bags in case we have ties (2 more for each game)
10. stay warm.. I'm ready for spring!! So far so good
11. homework supervisor Done

Adjustment in plans.. had to go retrieve a friend's child from school to watch she is ill.. fever of 99 and they sent her home... and said she couldn't go back tomorrow.. than the same darn nurse I ripped into last week asked me "do you know how to handle this".. I was a bit loud when I said "as a mother of 5, yes I do know how to handle this and everything else!" I really detest that lady...

We have a dusting of white stuff, but is drizzling freezing rain. Not fun to be out in. They are still working on the house. The flames started on the front porch around 6:30-7ish (I didn't check the clock until later). The trucks took another 10 minutes to arrive after I noticed the police lights & flames. Around 7:30 it was full engulfed and burned hard for at least another 45 minutes. It was a two story house. The firemen kept it from going to the detached garages & horse barns. The horse are okay too. DH went to make sure the people were okay and that's how we know they spent the night else where. The policeman said it took him 28 minutes to make a normal 10 minute drive to get there. The roads are that bad.

We do have 2 gallons of milk :) and we do our paper product shopping at Sam's so we are stocked with that. We have gasoline for the generator if the power goes out.

The new people purchased the house for the land/barns. It is their horses that are already here. They will probably rebuild a smaller house. I have never witnessed a house fire before and I pray I never will again. Those flames in the dark are the scariest thing I have ever seen.

AWM that sounds scary, glad no one was hurt.

That sleety stuff is awful.. it took me forever to get it off my van windows and I need to get to school sooner.. :( The roads are wet but nothing more...for now anyway...

AWM--I'm so glad everyone is ok!! How scary!!

Debbie--I'm glad you're feeling somewhat better! I hope DU96 feels better!!

Here's my list for the day (a lot of repeats from the past 2 days!):

1. Work (here now!)--DONE

2. Order pics for me and mom--yet again, I've pushed this back!!

3. Cut pieces for Everyday Life Swap--DONE

4. Watch "American Gladiators" from last night!! :)--DONE

Nancy, how did you react to the nurse? I would've been mad!!

I wanted to smack her around..instead I just snapped my little comment at her to the snickers of the 3 secretaries in the office... AS I left one of them yelled "Brut".. I flipped back around and she ducked under the desk.. so I called on my cell phone and gave her grief!

This is also the same lady I've told me kids to get through the day unless you get sick to avoid her.. she has NO bedside manner.. and she is so rude to the kids... my gosh... the little girl home today her temp for 99.0... regular temp is 98.6 so what is with the .4 difference.. the darn heating vent was over her head..not that it does alot but it could make a difference and she said she was under the blanket for a while -when the nurse was out in the hallway..

3. give DS a nap****************************DONE

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm went to bed feeling puny last night and I'm still feeling pretty puny this morning. My office is passing around both an upper respiratory flu and a stomach flu. So far, I've been pretty lucky in not catching anything (knock on wood) but I'm feeling like that might be changing.
Anyway, here's my short list for the day.
1. Work
2. Prep paperwork for tomorrow's Girl Scout leader meeting.
3. Fold laundry that DH left in the dryer. Thank goodness it was just socks and underwear.
4. Encourage DH to do another load of laundry.
5. Nap if I'm still feeling this puny when I get home.
3. Fold laundry that DH left in the dryer. Thank goodness it was just socks and underwear. DONE - DH did it for me since I didn't feel good.
4. Encourage DH to do another load of laundry. The encouragement happened but the laundry didn't. He said he would do it Wednesday evening while I'm at my meeting.
5. Nap if I'm still feeling this puny when I get home. DONE
I'm finally heading home after working all day. I'm still feeling pretty crappy so I'm going to take a nap. If I don't make it back on, have a good night everyone!
