Today is Friday!! And it's one of the few Friday's I have off during the year!

Today I have to:

Wrap DS16's gifts

Bead...I finally got the thing to look the way I wanted, and had to leave with DS, so I'd like to get at least something finished.

Wrap DS20's gifts

Dinner...chicken, mashed tatoes, carrots

Good morning!! It's FRIDAY!! Whoo-hoo!!

Only 2 1/4 working hours (7:45-10 a.m.) until Christmas Break!!

Nan--I hope DS is feeling better today, and that the dryer gets fixed!!

Deb--I read about your date night on the other thread, but didn't get to post. I'm glad it went well!!

Here's my list for today:

1. Coffee! Coffee! CoffEEEEEEEE!!!--DONE
2. Drop off DS--DONE
3. Work--more like countdown the minutes!--DONE
4. Pick up DS--DONE
5. Get stuff ready for my brother to pick up
6. Wrap DH's gifts
7. Get all of the *@*%) boxes out of my scrap room that had Christmas presents in them!
8. Put away DH's and my work Christmas gifts
9. Take books to work--DONE
10. Pick up my dish from work--DONE
11. Maybe (if it's not raining) take DS to have his pics made with the Chick-Fil-A Santa Cow!
12. Take Christmas gift to work--DONE

Ohhh, a date night!!! DH and I were supposed to have a date night tonight but with the incoming storm that will be rescheduled.

The Blink and Sneeze children will have a sn@w day today, as well as L&TMama children.

My to do list:

-Bring wood in - done
-load woodstove - done. Again the oil company tried to deliver oil to us Wed. the tank only took 26 gallons. Yeah, the woodstove and all my lumberjacking is paying off.
-email friend to let her know I can do the NE genealogy conference with her in April
-Work half day. Being send home at noon due to the incoming inclement weather.
-Dinner - DH got a great deal on scallops yesterday so we will have those. YUM
-snowblow the driveway. That should be fun. Anyone looking for a good laugh, hid behind my trees and watch me fight with a snowblower the size of a small car.

The storm that was to hit us...turned into just rain... still slick roads but no delays...

Dryer man better fix my dryer today.... or he and DH are both going to get an earful!!!!
DS will be home today.. only been sick one other time.. no fever....but don't want to take any chances... he did sleep on the couch w/ me (large sectional) and sleep thru the night..

Lots to do today...but I won't bore you w/ the list...

Hope everyone has a good day and I'll check in when I can..
I do need to cancel on my friend for scrapping tonight...don't want to take the germs to her house b/c her DD has a big swim meet on Sat...
Ok, off to get the day moving..

Rain here too. At least they got that part right.

DH is staying home again today. Hopefully he will go out or something.
Get kiddos to work.
Wrap up teacher gifts.
Try to make sugar cookies for the 1st graders to decorate.
Finish up laundry.
Go to school at lunch time for afternoon volunteer duty.
Come home and make a quick dinner.
Work on long house with fifth grader.
Watch new Clone Wars episode.

morning everyone!

well no school today for my boyfriend. it's supposed to be a bad storm. i sent dh off to work very early this am and said ok i'll see you in a few days! i sent him with all kinds of food, clothes, coffee the whole works. and i told him he had better plow out Michaels and Joann's really good, because i don't want any of my scrap friends falling and getting hurt!!!!

so my list is short and sweet

ds up and breakfast
work -only for a hour or so. just to do the things i HAVE to do!
take ds to get a few christmas things for dh before the sn** starts
make cookies w/ds
scrap my 12x12 prototypes
make dinner for ds and I
call and check with dispatcher about where and how is dh! i tried to get him to take my cell phone, but he is so not a phone person. the dispatcher (who's super nice) will radio him and have him call me from the big truck. and of course i gave him the *be super careful* speech before he left.

ok that's it for me today. have a great friday everyone and remember to have fun no matter what you choose to do.

It's the last day of school before winter break!!!!!!! DS is exempt from the first exam so he doesn't have to go in until 10:00 and then will be finished and home at 12:30!!

Organize list of swaps I'm signed up for and inventory supplies I'll need and order more if necessary
Work some more on making some Christmas gifts

Add my children to the list of those staying home today because of the weather. We've gotten about 4 inches so far with 6 more on the way. Right now it is blowing pretty hard. Be glad all you got was rain Nancy. Of course I still need to go out and get things for in-law party tonight. But on the bright side, I have free labor to get the house clean Here is my list but I won't be doing it by myself


shower and get ready done
make bed done
finish frosting cookies done
make sloppy joes and put in crockpot done
make potatoes done
thoroughly clean the kitchen
clean main floor bath
sweep
mop
tidy living room done
decorate snowman tree done
put extra leaves in table
bring extra chairs upstairs done
have kids clean locker room done
dust main floor done
venture out into the snow to get stuff for potatoes, pop and veggies done

Well I don't always get to participate in this thread but since I'm off until the new year unless someone calls with a question I'm going to jump in today.

I'm getting ready to head to the shower so that I can go out and get my shopping done. I hate being this late with it but life has been crazy.

You guys are going to hate me but its supposed to be 70 here today I don't want your storms but I would like a little cool weather for the holidays.

Naw, we don't hate you because you have great weather. Not your fault we live in a snow belt. I like hearing other places are warm. Makes me think of spring someday, in like, 5 months.

4. Pick up Mom and Aunt-They have been on Senior Trip thru Tennessee and Kentucky
5. Dinner out with Mom and Aunt-they bicker like small children, makes me tired lol maybe they will behave tonight!
6. Drive Mom home to Granbury. 2 hours round trip, not bad
7. Laundry and swaps in between. nope

Have fun! Today is gorgeous- after a few days of gloom.....70 degrees and sunshine- of course, we'd love to see some sn*w!
