Today is FRIDAY!! Everyone have fun plans for the weekend?

Today I have to:

OY...run to Walmart to pick up glue dots. I thought I had a new box...I don't and have to go buy some!

Bank

Make chick wings for DS20

Pack a dinner for work

Work tonight

YIPPEEEEEE!! It's Friday!! I hope everyone has a great day and a fabulous weekend!

Here's my list for today:

2. Get flu shot--DONE
3. Drop off DS--DONE
4. Work--DONE
5. Pick up DS--DONE
6. Grocery Store
7. Clean kitchen
8. Clean other bathroom
9. Work on DH's Christmas present
10. Figure out SIL's Christmas gifts to send by Thanksgiving, so I don't have to ship them!--I know now what I'm getting. . .just have to do it!!
11. Frozen pizza for dinner!--in the oven!
12. Pick up remaining Thanksgiving cards--DONE
13. Iron clothes for tomorrow
14. Fold laundry--the laundry fairy STILL hasn't shown up!--DONE

I'm so glad it is Friday, however I don't get to sleep in tomorrow because 2 of my boys have an early bird basketball tourney tomorrow!!!

It's DS's 16th birthday tomorrow and ALL the family (DH's and mine) is coming over on Sunday to celebrate. I'm trying to get my house in shape for Sunday and finish up everything for DS for tomorrow. Sunday evening, once everyone has gone home, I'm sure you will hear my huge sigh of relief!!!

Shampoo living room and dining room carpets Done
Clean bathrooms Done
Wrap DS's birthday presents
Go buy rest of decorations/supplies I need for DS's birthday Done
Make list of foods needed and cake supplies and go grocery shopping Done
Bake birthday cake (DS wants a Black Forrest cake! YUM!)
Make DS's birthday card
Make some Cars decorations using the Cars Cricut cartridge
Decorate dining room - this will only happen if I can stay awake later than DS. If not, I'll get up early in the morning and decorate.

I'm sure there's more, but that'll get me going!

Our birthdays are done for the year w/ the exception of the little boy I watch... he'll be 5 so the kids are planning him a surprise party... (now, to talk them into funding it! LOL) It'll be my kiddos and the little brother and sister I watch....but the kids are planning it w/ movie and popcorn... DD is planning on baking brownies because those are his favorite!!!

I am soo blonde today. What does that mean?

You aren't blonde! It's a children's clothing store. I have to go to the one down south for part of DS's Christmas outfit and then go to the one up north for the other part! It's not like it's a far drive, Austin isn't that big, I just wanted make sure I did them both.

You are so right!! I went to get my flu shot this morning, and this woman I know was there. She kept saying, "You know, I can't believe you need to drink coffee. I never need it. I can take or leave it. It's just really not that important in my life." Yes, lady, ok. Now get out of the way between me and the coffee pot!!!!

That's hysterical! I didn't drink coffee until I had DD and then it was a NECESSITY!

I started drinking my coffee in college..all sweet and light...then I met DH and started working midnights...from then on it was high octane and black.

And DH and I fight over the pot, I have to make 1 for the carafe and one for drinking when he is home.

My GYN told me I had to cut back...ummmm...well....now I just tell her that I did

I started drinking it when I was 2 (no joke!). The pediatrician told Mom to give me 1/2 cup coffee and 1/2 cup milk every morning to help with throat problems. I drank usually one cup in the morning and one at night, until DS was born. (I was on decaf while I was pregnant. . .it about did me in!!).

DS goes to bed now around 8:30 or so and gets up at 4 a.m., so I get up at 4 a.m. and stay up. Needless to say, we're on 3 cups of FULL CAFFEINE coffee and then a to-go mug to take to work!!
