Vote w/ Dh early (have you seen those lines?!? )

Work on swap stuff

Go to Special Heme Dr appt at 1245 for DH

PO done

I'm thinking spaghetti & MB for dinner

Good morning, everyone!!

Here's my list for today:

1. Drop off DS--DONE
2. Work--it's an inservice day due to election day--DONE
3. Pick up DS--DONE
4. Wait on DH to get home so I can go vote (and probably be in line 3 hours. . .why didn't I do this early???)--DONE
5. Put DS's 2 different outfits on him so I can decide which to use for 3 month pics tomorrow (pics were supposed to be last Saturday, but we got there and DH had FORGOTTEN the outfit! Yes, that went over well!!)--slight problem. I thought they both looked yucky, so DH is gone out in search of another outfit!
6. Clean kitchen--DONE
7. Clean DH's bathroom--we're back to that again!!
8. Fold laundry
9. Watch NCIS--not on. . .election coverage!

morning everyone! i did not play yesterday and i missed everyone!

ds has no school and i have no work so it's a GOOD day for us! poor dh he has to go to work and he's so sick with a cold. i feel bad. i wish he could stay home with us, but he won't. in fact he should be gone by now, but he's dogging it this am.

so my list should be short.....

1.vote
2.pick up my prescription
3.go to bank
4.pay oil budget bill. YUCK
5.prep supper
6.go and buy the converter box for our tv. you know how regular tv won't work next feb well i ordered the coupons for the converter boxes and they expire this week. i only need it for my tv in my scrap corner because it does not have cable. i MUST do it today!

ok that's it. i think after that i'll low key it and rest. i was so tired yesterday afternoon that i know i still can't do much.

It's another asthma filled day here Big Mister is home again. He says it's his left lung so I'm calling the doc this morning and hope to get an appt.

DH took off early from work, picked me up, and we head over to the polling place...LINE OUT THE DOOR ALREADY!!! And we were there at 0710!!!

I tell DH let's come back after all these people go to work today...so we turned the car around and left...along with about 6 other peoples. DH already told me he isn't waiting in a line today to vote, so I hope it clears out!

Anyone else having line troubles?

Thanks. He's had a rough couple of days. I've never seen him so out of it before. Nothing is working so we are going to see the doc. He's been very clingy for a 13 year old. I keep telling him I wish it were me and not him. Says he'd feel bad for me then He's such a great son.

I have been watching the long lines for voting on tv while finishing up my bionder clips but haven't been to the polls yet. I don't expect we will have very long lines- one of the advantages of rural life.

My DH got in line at the polling place at 6:40 this morning and he was about 20th in line. He said by the time the doors opened at 7:00 there were more than 100 in line, but he said he was in and out in about 10 minutes once the doors opened.

I just went and voted and was in and out with no wait.

DH just voted and there were no lines. But we have a pretty small area that votes at DD's school.

I certainly can't complain about our lines- there was a small one when I arrived- about 8 people but I was able to vote and mail things at the post office and return home within 35 minutes and it took longer at the PO than voting.

When your kids are little you expect them to want to cuddle, but it is such a joy to have your 13 year old son want to be with you and cuddle up. DS is a very loving person, likes physical contact (both rough and gentle ) and oftens comes up to me for a hug and a "love you". He is also the same kids that LOVES football and tackling. Just gotta love him

So we are leaving for the doc's in about 15 minutes. Appt. at 11:00. Hoping to get some prednisone and make sure his lungs are clear - no pneumonia.

According to DH and the Dad of the little ones I watch the lines were out the door.. Dh kept tellin' me wait til this afternoon.. I said I can't vote twice!! I did my early voting @ the clerks office when they opened the polling there and was in & out in 15 minutes...and I even did some socializing!!!

I took the long way to the PO and the line at my polling place was gone...but the one down the road was still pretty long. I just sent DS20 off for his first foray into the political voting fray...told him to go now, since later it will be busy again...

Now just have to get DH up for his Dr appt, then we can vote after...
