Welcome to the day before Friday!!

Today I want to:

Really finish my swap... I ended up running to the market and other errands, and didn't get them done yesterday grrrrr...got a migraine and had to go to bed all afternoon. now I'm just fuzzy brained, but at least I can see again

DH for a load on, and I got the sheets changed...winter blankets, it's gonna be chilly tonight

Clean the bathrooms did 1

HOWEVER....

My BFF seems determined to get me to play hooky again, and go on a Mike's run and lunch BFF and I decided to go next week instead. The new Walmart superstore opens on Wed, so we might go there


So, I'm not sure what I'll be doing...maybe I can clean early...play...then work on the swap. Hmmmmm...
Oh, and dinner?

Debbie, lunch and M's with your BFF sounds like the choice to make. The bathrooms will patiently wait to be cleaned!

Keep an eye on one of the cats. He's not acting right and I may need to take him to the vet.

I was out late last night at a cooking demonstration so I don't feel like doing much of anything today. It will be one of those days where I'll be happy to get through.

Load wood stove - done
Work
Laundry. Good job to do while chilling watching Ugly Betty and Greys

7-pick up boys for allergy run

That sounds like fun! We have a place that DH and I love to go...it's like going to the food network in person...yummy, and I get to sample new wines

Debbie, it is just like that. You sit around the kitchen prep/ stove area, watch them cook and eat the yummies. Our theme was comfort foods which I thought would be good. We could all use some comfort now and then. The chicken coating was awesome and the apple sour cream crumb pie was to die for. At the end, you get a goody bag and the recipes. Do they now expect me to cook?

In a few weeks Mom and I are doing hor' d'orves there.

DS13 is home coughing today so not sure how much I will get done. He has a paper due this 1st thing next week so I think we will be working on it today. But there are some things I need to do and if he stops coughing, I will take him in to school.

Fall sports are done so no more picking kids up from school. Basketball starts next week for DS12 and as much as I would like him to make the team I secretly hope he doesn't. I need a break.

7. Get boys

8. Cross Country Championship today, need to bring camera to the meet

So, I was a Mike's yesterday, employee appreciation, BFF gets 50% off stuff, and even though I was at the Dover store on Monday with her ($100 for $50 ), I wanted to get a few more magnetic frames for the fridge, and some other stuff. So in the clearance isle, I find a album/frame that we had been looking for...cute, for young girls, she wanted for her DS's GF. Anyway, we were told on Monday at a different store, they were marked down to a penny, and because of that had to be thrown out...THROWN OUT!!! Well, I found one at the Mike's she works at, and took it through the register, along with a multipack of glitter. Yup, album was $.01...and the glitter was $.10!! So I called her to pick up the other glitter for me at $.10. I don't think I'll need glitter for a few years now!

Anyway, can you believe they just throw away really good stuff? I'd love to dumpster dive in there and get it all. How sad it is that it's all trashed, and not donated somewhere!
