Debbie, it is a fact of life her in MI. We are suppose to get 6" by the end of today. I'm hoping things get cancelled tonight. DH wants to go to the boys basketball game, but I'd rather stay home and watch a movie.

The difference between there and here, is that you all know how to drive in the stuff. Here, the people seem to go crazy! SLOW DOWN or stay home is what I say! Makes for some pretty busy nights at work for me

Not sure where you are Debbie, but I laugh when I hear how places south of us close down for a week because they get an inch of snow. Crap - there are some days we get an inch an hour And we do know how it drive in it all accept the first time it snows. Some people forget what it is like from April to Oct. And there is the ocassional jerk that just thinks he is invinsible.

Okay- I just had the best part of my day- I booked the pay for 4 get 3 free deal at the Grand Floridian in June for our anniversary (which is actually July 3rd but $1500 cheaper to go in June so we will celebrate then). Now I just have to decide if I am going to add a dining plan and which one. I will look at finances and talk to DH about where he wants to dine. I am thinking about adding on the Deluxe and planning a late breakfast that is buffet opr sit down and doing a signature most nights. We can use our snack credits for something in the middle. I can save up a lot on my Disney Vise to pay for the tips. What do you all think?

I must be doing something right!!!
DD just found out and txt'd me that it is about time for scheduling next years classes.... she wants to discuss it this weekend because she wants to take theater as an elective for her fine arts credit instead of the class we have listed...

She was up till after midnight doing homework last night..but in her defense she had a ball game and didn't get home till after 9:30pm.. than she had to tell DH and I about the game and how she did since DH and I were at other games w/ the younger boys... so when she finally settled it was about 10:15pm.

Currently she is ranked very high in her class... in the teens!!! I'm just beyond thrilled that she is doing this along w/ her community service, school activities both athletic and educational clubs, and her 4H commitments which are 3 different clubs!!!

DH and I want to get away..for my 40th birthday.. 2010...but I keep teetering on taking the kids then too.... DH and I may do something this summer in TN...

Good for your DD! You must have done a lot right in raising her.

Rebecca, GO Signature!! If you can afford it, and having no kids with you I would definitely do it and someday I will. I LOVE the GF! Spent my 15th anny there but with the kids.
We only stay at the GFs sister in Cali, the GC. But it looks more like the WL.

Rebecca, that sounds like a fantastic way to celebrate your anniversary!!!! Love it!!!!

PN96, sounds like you've done a wonderful job raising a great girl!!!!!! She sounds very on top of things. Good for her (and you!!!!). My DS took Improv for his fine arts credit last year and that got him really involved in the theatre stuff and this year he's taking drama and loves it all. It's been very good for him and has really helped bring him out of his shell.

Okay, as for the doctor. I got back just a bit ago. I've been having some "female" problems and my estrogen levels are really really high and she's trying to find out the problem. A couple of other things (thyroid and insulin)are borderline high and now we have to figure out what's causing what. I go for a pelvic ultrasound next week to see what's happening there. That's it in a nutshell. Nothing for me to worry about until we figure things out. Thanks for thinking of me. It makes me feel all !!!!

WDWMom- an inch and hour!!!!! holy cow. everytime i see it in the forecast i just roll my eyes. i'm really starting to hate it more and more. the older i get the worst it gets.

DIT~ keep us posted..and utilize PO3 she really did have a lot to handle awhile back...and I was txting w/ her quite a bit to keep her company and make sure she was following the rules "I" set for her... LOL

WDWMom ~ missed the inch per hour..please send it north.. we are expected 1-3 but freezing rain/sleet before.. sometime after midnight tonight... at least no one has practice before 10:30am.. and DH is taking that one because he is coaching that one! I can stay home!!! Looks like I'll be in my scraproom/laundry area all day tomorrow!!!
