OK, last night we leave for game.. winds have picked up... knew it would be bad over night w/ the front blowing through but boy was it crazy.. got to opposing school late due to wind but the game started late...DD dressed for A... but didn't play, to be explained later... so the game starts 6:15pm.. we are done at half time..only for the girls to leave the court and the lights to go out.. WHAT? Yep, those gym lights... which of course have to cool down before they can be turned back on... Well, at the same time this is going on there is evidently a tornado warning in the area, especially our hometown..miles away... and of course a mother goes out and announces this to the girls who are meeting w/ their coach... WHAT? Are you dumb, you are worrying this girls for no reason.. So, they get some of the gym lights on but not all but decide to try to play the game with only portion of the lights that are going on/off periodically. Right in the middle of the play the light would be on...and than the light would go off... it was about 7:30pm by this time..and we are only minutes into the 3rd quarter... the opposing team is shooting free throws and we go into complete darkness.. Our coach yells to the parents if you are here You will be taking your child home with you NOW! Evidently there was a wreck along w/ the weather that downed power lines and a possible house fire...and the temps had dropped 20+ degrees since we entered the building about 6:10PM.. Than was the experience home..I had DS11 and DD14 with me... (DH and DS7 were home because DS7 decided to start a 103 fever) so it's raining so it looks..nope it's sleet and sn** and pellets too! OMG! The wind was wicked, the drivers were idiots. It took me over an hour to get home that should have taken 35 minutes..but with 2 babies in the van with me...it's safety first.. I don't know what they plan to do w/ this game.. will they make it up(finish it).. we were coming back and had momentum to win this game...oh, and as the lights went out the last time coach had pulled DD and was getting ready to put her in the game. DD was so upset.. more so because she was {} close to playing A.. while she prefers B team games; the coach had seen the potential we had told her all along she had... Came home to horrendous winds all night and still today..and we are under a winter storm watch tomorrow into Fri..w/ 6-8" on sn** expected...
OH, and the kicker to this evening after feeding/babysitting 15 BB girls, I forgot my DaRN camera to get photos of the fact that DD was going to play A team...and than of course trying to play BB in the dark!

Didn't happen Buffy blew the transformer on me! but trying to get some of it done now.. not only the transformer but before that I blew a fuse in the breaker box but have no clue which one it is to change it.. DH fixed it!
3. Keep an eye on DS7 I believe he has beaten the flu bug! School tomorrow
That boy is going to school tomorrow.. all homework is done but reading next on the list!

And what is with all of these winter tornados, it's just crazy!
I can not even imagine weather like that especially since we will be in the 60's today.
