It's Wednesday...Winter Storm is here!!! I'm crossing my fingers that they use the $n** day and let the kids stay home. I drove home last night at 2330, and I was a-sceert. Those roads were really bad!!!

2.work.

4.no prepping supper today. dh is having scallops so ds and i will have something easy.
5.fill out paperwork for mom

That wasn't nice. I usually just read as there is never any rhyme or reason to my day and If I write it down it never happens so I read the thread to see what everyone else is doing. No fair that you're still tucked in bed, I'm aready at work.

Mornin! It's cold here- we got some ice last night but not enough to close schools. I have to say I am shocked we didn't at least start later.

We had a $n** day today too. There is like 1/2" of ice over top of the $n** we got yesterday. The dogs were pretty funny slipping all over it this morning. 4 steps off the deck, I think they hit the first, slid by the others and landed in the yard

It was driving last night! I was sliding all over, and I drive major highways most of the way...and the idiots that were going fast past me...all I could say was PLEASE when you flip your car, do it where I can't see it!!

I was going out later, but I'm not so sure now...

I was out sick yesterday--this stuff stinks!! But, I'm feeling much better today, so I might actually accomplish the list!!

Here's my list for today:

1. Caffeinate--DONE
2. Drop off DS--DONE
3. Work
4. Pick up DS
5. Empty dishwasher--DONE
6. Get pics from mom
7. Devotional--DONE
8. Fold laundry
9. Frozen dinner for supper, DH has a meeting
10. Fix bday cards to send
11. Proj 365 pic
12. Do journaling for Proj 365 if time
13. Talk to nurse about our shots
14. Call pediatrician--SIOLB has a yicky rash on his neck.

Yup! We have 10 inches on the ground... it's not sn**ing right now...but we are still under the storm warning til 5pm... NO ice here... I need to call and check on my mom though...because they were getting hammered w/ a combo of everything..

I slept til 10AM! DH stayed home so I had him deal w/ the kids that would be mad b/c they waited til 5AM to call school off! LOL (of course now we have to figure out what this does for the County Tmt for DS12's team.. championships are supposed to be tomorrow but we haven't played semi-finals)

If it's any consolation I woke up with a headache and a bad bad dream.
I got up at 10 and made pancakes and eggs for breakfast, now it's time to battle Mt. Washmore and and the Mt. Dishmore.

Buffy it's fine just wish I could have done the same. It's just been an absolutely crappy day at work and I want to be home. That stuff outside is coming down at 3"s an hour and they are letting us leave and I'd probably get fired for asking to leave.

I will try to at least post when I make it home. Normal trip is just 10-15 mins tonight it's looking like 30-45 mins I'm trying to decide if I want to go the long way around, NONE of the roads are great all involve steep hills up and down.

We just spent an hour playing and shoveling the vehicles and a portion of the drive out.. got a friendly honk by the PW crew as the butthead plowed crap right back into the end of my driveI had just cleared!! He is a good friend and said he'd stop by tonight w/ his personal plow and plow me back out...
