At Kidani---my home resort FIRST TIME

We are here at Kidani currently. I would say it is a close second to our favorite, and home, BCV.
The CM's are lovely and we have enjoyed talking with several of the cultural reps.
LOVE the savannah view.
The lounge is nice, just enjoyed a few drinks and dessert there tonight.
Like all the different talks, tours and activities.

Our only complaints so far are that the pool feels too small for the resort, though we do love the play area.
And our room is at the end of one of the hallways. It is a very long walk to the lobby and pool areas. And a long walk to the villa at the end of a long day.

I hear you on the walk to the room - we were at the north end I believe and I read online that it is almost 1/4 mile from the lobby. I sorta believe it after walking it so many times But, we don't mind walking and it gave us a chance to check out the savannah from several different views as we made our trek home! Great to know about the lounge - we just found it the day before we came home, but great to know for the next trip!

Hi all--(I posted this thread) and I am back home boo hooo boo hoooo....
One thing I want to add is that my kids loved the Community Hall too. I don't know they were thrilled to go and colour etc. So, that was nice too. Also, want to add that before going on this first trip home I had read a lot about Kidani and the buses etc. We had great luck with buses and I especially liked convenience to Jambo by boarding any bus that came. While we did not walk it, it did not seem to be that far either.
I am so sad to be at my permanent home again and cannot wait to go back!! I miss the mood music, the pool and the animals. We had a great view of the giraffes last night--5 of them all together walking past the viewing area outside the lobby. It was so cool,.... I could actually hear them as they ate. I' m off to check my flights for next March as I want to add Kidani to the end of my Cruise on the Dream now for sure........
