It's so cold and cloudy today that the kids & I are shivering! I planned on upper 70's to low 80's & didn't bring nearly enough warm clothes.
Guess Disney is going to get money from me for sweatshirts & long pants. Dress warm if your doing the 24 hour thing.

Ah....but what a nice reprieve from the heat wave! :)
I love cool weather.
Enjoy the cool weather and have a nice time. Say hello to the pirates for me please.

That sucks when it is cold. I hate the cold especially if I am not expecting it.
I hope gets warmer there.

I agree! We splurged on the DLH this trip because it was forecasted to be in the mid 80's and sunny. We were planning to enjoy the pools but we are sooo cold. The kids tried to swim anyway but after 15 minutes they were shivering too much to enjoy it. Major bummer for us. :(

When do you leave? Forecasted to be 70's next couple days, 81 on Sunday.

I love DLR when it's cold because it keeps the locals home. We went in December during the "artic vortex" :rotfl2: (I can never say or think about that without giggling), and especially at night, the parks were dead. But, I knew it was cold, so we had all our winter gear. I would definitely not be enjoying it if I wasn't prepared. My first trip to WDW was like that, so I feel for you.

Are you able to get to Target down the street? You might be able to purchase some warmer things for cheaper than in the parks.

I mean let's be clear for those reading now though, the current temp in Anaheim is 68. Chilly to swim, but not quite "winter gear" weather.

Last week we were dying from the heat, 102 and 103 some of the days we were there! Have fun!

"Warmer clothes" doesn't mean winter gear. :) Sweatshirts and pants are year round wear for cooler weather.

Last year's early June trip, we left our house good and early so we could spend the day at the DLH pool. Sat there shivering; I used my gift card to buy a sweatshirt. Finally at 1:00 pm the sun came out!

Still prefer this kind of weather than last week!

it warms up by the weekend, and memorial day will be a balmy 85. all next week is back in the mid-high 80s again.

@Tiffjoy yeah we get cold easily.. we're spoiled here. below 68 = freezing! ugg boots and parkas! above 78 = hot! omg ugg boots and shorts.. i mean wait. what? LOL.

saturday is expected to be pleasant in the mid to upper 70s. :)

Sounds great to me! I can't stand anything over 72 degrees. Ha!

When we were there in July 2011, I was surprised how chilly it was. We wore jeans and cardigans the whole time. Last summer however, it was pretty hot, even for us Texans. I just love the climate in Anaheim! :beach:

I saw the live cam this morning and was SO jealous! We were there mothers day week/weekend and were DYING from the heat. California weather is so unpredictable these days. When I lived there it was more dependable.....our next trip will be in February where all I'll have to worry about is cold and rain and I'm perfectly fine with that lol

Have fun!

We are coming from west Texas and I hope we have some great "chilly" weather when we go (June 11th - June 13th) !!!!! Can't wait!!!!!! :moped:
