at disneyland forgot camera cable

Hey everyone,
I am at disneyland now YAY! but I forgot my camera cable Is there any store around preferably within walking distance that I may find a USB to mini usb cable or a CF card reader?

Isn't there a Best Buy vending machine at DTD? You may want to check there. Hope you find one though! Or check lost & found at the hotel front desk. People leave all sorts of stuff behind!

Are you looking to charge it, or to upload the pictures back to your computer (or whatever)? If you're just looking to charge, the camera store at the end of main street has bunches of chargers and if you're able to leave your camera with them for a bit, they will charge it at no charge (haha) for you.

If you're looking to buy.... well, there's a Target a bit down Harbor but not walking distance. Oh, there is a convenience store on Harbor as well... a 7-11, I think? If I'm not mistaken, it's on the same side as Disneyland, south on Harbor, I believe. I think by Desert Inn? I could totally be wrong there, though. Good luck!

thanks for the advice. I will check the best buy vending machine on my way into the parks today.

I will need the cable to transfer pictures, and my camera uses a mini usb to usb cable, or a CF card reader, one of the bigger camera cards instead of the smaller SD cards.

Thanks again. If the best buy machine doesn't have it I'll try the target, get a cab.

sorry for the double post, both of those posts I was half awake, thinking about it now, I could also use a CF card, I will try the best buy thing for that too, just in case if anyone has any other ideas, they would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

If you're transferring photos just to make space on your card, you also might just want to be on the lookout for another card - which might possibly be easier to find. I'm guessing that the Kodak shop on Main Street would have a variety of cards.

This is my worst nightmare!! FORGETTING A CABLE!! We have 3 cameras (mine, ds, dd) and they all take different cables!!

Need to make sure I write this on our packing list!!

Oh, this is a great idea! You can usually pick up a 4gb card for under $20. Good luck!

I bought a new card at the Camera store on Main Street during our first trip. Have fun

great idea about the photo store, went there, and talked to them. I have a CF or compact flash card, which is bigger than the SD card, and older, and not being used anymore. They stopped selling them at the store about a year ago. They still have SD cards there. Talked with the people there and we came up with a great solution. They burned all of my pictures to DVD!! They were all there and had no problems accessing them on my laptop. I will now just delete the pictures from the card and be good to go, it cost about 20 bucks which is worth it for me to be able to take more pictures, glad they could do that, and they can do that with any camera card, but it may be better with the SD cards just to buy another one.

Sounds like the OP found a solution, but this morning we saw a universal camera cable device for sale at Compass Books on the west end of DTD. Not sure if that thingy would work for someone else.
